Sometimes fashion brands like to surprise us. And Bershka is the next surprise on the list. It has allied with the footwear brand Reebok and produced a fitness shoe line that is meant to bring one of the most exclusive and much-expected products this season.
The new Reebok x Bershka shoe line is called “City Maps,” and while you could have easily thought it’s meant for travelers, it has a completely different purpose. “City Maps” is created for urban exercisers and fitness fans, who love to spend their mornings in parks and on pavements, running and exercising. According to Bershka and Reebok, the shoe has all the necessary features of a perfect sports-show and the in-trend style added by Bershka. The shoe is made of tricot fabric and is said to be lighter than a feather … well, at least a feather native to the sports industry. They are said to weigh less than 8 ounces.
Bershka, known as the upper middle class brand that brings the hottest trends of the runways at much more affordable rates (than Armani and other high-end fashion labels) has probably decided it wanted a piece of exclusivity too. And the shoe created just the right occasion for it. It’s not often you find anything hard-to-get in a Bershka store, but this time, you’ll have to go on a treasure hunt. The shoe will only be available in select Bershka stores and on Bershka’s official website. So, if you live in the wrong location, your love for fitness will not change the shipping date, you’ll have to wait a little.
The Reebok x Bershka “City Maps” campaign is accompanied by a promo video featuring hot models exercising in the city streets. From the look of it, working out seems to be easier than I remember. The shoe just pushes you up in the air, movements are smoother … oh common, we all know a shoe will not change the heavy suffering of morning exercises, but it might be just the right motivation for getting out of bed and showing-off your new pair to the entire city. So, I guess this video might have a positive outcome for Bershka’s marketing department after all.

Continuing the talks about exclusivity, Bershka is making us wait for the new print and keep guessing what it’s going to be. The new print will reportedly be released in October.
