Although some of the Kardashian/Jenner clan members are currently unreachable on the main social media channels, their careers couldn’t be more established, with Kendall and Kylie Jenner now even trying their hand at eyewear design for their already successful women’s wear line. Distributed by Allure eyewear, the Kendall + Kylie eyewear collection is going to be available in selected stores and at Nordstrom starting from February next year.
“We’re [pleased] to offer our new collection of sunglasses. Eyewear is the finishing touch that elevates any look. We can’t wait for our customers to see the world through our eyes,” the Jenners told WWD, with Kylie adding that she feels like “we’ve both really evolved our styles, and this represents what we want to wear.”
Trying to express one’s personality, as well as career’s path through eyewear is possibly harder than doing it through clothes but, given the very few designs’ sneak peeks the duo released, we can fairly state Kylie and Jenner did a great job. As for the price tags, the prices for Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s eyewear designs are ranging from $145 to $220.
As it happened with their brother-in-law Kanye West’s Yeezy collection, Kendall has been already spotted wearing/advertising her creations, arousing the curiosity of many. Now that she shut her Instagram account down, however, we bet sister Kylie Jenner will also be caught sporting some of their signature sunglasses in her Snapchat videos (as she often heads to Snapchat to advertise her own Kylie Cosmetics products).
As far as we know, the Kendall + Kylie eyewear collection will thus mainly feature acetate frames, which are more durable than the average plastic ones, as well as different shapes and colors, among which rose gold is, of course, to be found too. Oversized designs are at the core of the entire collection, both in their more rounded and cat-eye versions.
Heavily squared cuts are also included in the collection, not to mention the ultra trendy half-clear frames. If you are looking for a pair of sunglasses just in time for spring and the warmer, sunnier months, this Kendall + Kylie sunglasses collection is definitely the way to go!
Launched in 2015, the Kendall + Kylie clothing line is already selling out most of its pieces, and is mainly distributed in brick-and-mortar, as well as online stores, such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. So far, the sisters primarily focused on footwear, clothes and bags, and now that they decided to add eyewear design to their already astounding resume, we cannot wait to see what the future has in store for them!
