6 Cool NYFW Spring 2016 Accessories To Add To Your Wardrobe

New York Fashion Week spring 2016 is over, but so is not our excitement to share its best looks and inspirations. In fact, whenever a fashion week comes to an end, it’s time to draw some conclusion and choose what our next must haves are going to be. This year, picking just one or two items was basically impossible, but here at Fashionisers we have managed to focus on the best 6 accessories for spring 2016 that anyone should add to her wardrobe. Choosing the best among all those shoes, bags and hats has definitely been not that easy, but someone had to do it!

#1. It’s All About the Bags

If you are a bag addict, you are probably always checking the latest Fashion Week trends to find out new bags to be obsessed with. New York Fashion Week surely made everything easier with its half moon handbag trend, which is actually very close to become next season’s it-bag. If we had to give a name to this trend, it would surely be Victoria Beckham’s.

#2. Golden Scarves

One of the most beloved themes for this New York Fashion Week was undoubtedly the sci-fi/futuristic one. It led to an unpredictable amount of metallic accessories, as seen at Margiela, Scott and even Berardi’s shows. While Margiela’s detachable metallic sleeves may definitely not be for everyone, Greg Lauren’s golden scarf is already a must have. Just try it out with some simple mini dresses or some unisex outfits, and you are sure to create standout looks for any occasion!

#3. Pastel Fringe Sandals

As many of you may still vividly remember, pastel colors and fringes were some of this summer’s most prominent must haves. Well, for next summer you just have to combine these two together, mix gently and put the mixture into oven for about six months. By March 21st some cute pastel fringe sandals will be fresh and ready! Get inspired by Marissa Webb’s shoe collection!

#4. Patchwork Bucket Hats

This one specific trend is probably not going to be the most popular, but is certainly going to be loved by a lot of fashionistas. Perfect for those early May rainy days, as well as for your worst bad hair days, the patchwork bucket hat perfectly combines grunge, boho chic and sporty chic styles together. Look at how BCBG Max Azria managed to create the ultimate bucket hat for the year to come!

#5. Lace-up Booties

Trends come and go, and we could all agree by saying that this statement perfectly applies to lace-up booties. However, next season is going to be the season of lace-up booties, the more sensual Victorian appeal of which is definitely going to seduce many shoe addicts. Look at Givenchy’s lace-up booties and try not to say they are gorgeous!

#6. Oversized Bow Headbands

Made in leather, these oversized bows take the dramatic look to a more cheerful level. Designed by Cushnie et Ochs, these pieces of art take us back to the Nineties, and encourage us to play (and above all, have fun) with fashion. However, if you are looking for something less dramatic, you can opt for smaller ones and go for a more pin-up look.
