Parfois SS 2016 Campaign Takes a Road Trip

Parfois has finally launched its spring/summer 2016 campaign, and it perfectly embodies the Portuguese accessories brand’s aesthetics and style visions for the new warm season (and life in general). The new Parfois spring 2016 accessory collection, which provides us with an endless array of eye-catching accessorizing possibilities for making this spring a one-of-a-kind and unforgettable season, is particularly perfect for those who can’t get enough of ethnic pieces infused with some casual-chic bohemian touches.

Literally on the road, this campaign takes us to route 66, letting us catch a glimpse of what it really means to just pack up some of the coolest belongings one owns and take the chance to go adventuring through the USA during summer, whatever the cost. “It’s just you and the time it takes you to get somewhere”. Like most high-street brands, such as Stradivarius and Zara, Parfois also opted for adding inspirational and quite poetical captions within the images, making its campaign a sort of hybrid between a real life story and a dream. In this case, the captions served both as a friendly reminder and metaphorical reinforcement to highlight the whole ‘on the road’ concept, which was however equally accentuated by the label’s proposals anyway.

The Parfois spring/summer 2016 accessory line mainly features geometric-shaped pieces with detailing that is both minimalistic and intricate, also featuring refined processing techniques that make everything look uniquely handmade. The brand put a lot of emphasis on the materials, which, from gold to silver and even bronze, give the lineup exquisite touches of colors and make it possible for anyone to find something to suit her personality.

Minuscule studs, glittery motifs and beaded embroideries are then just the icing on the cake; as such embellishments complete the collection with both a slightly futuristic twist and the label’s iconic boho-chic spirit. To catch a glimpse of what the word ‘futuristic’ means for Parfois, just take a look at the shoes! While most of the geometric proposals in gold, bronze and silver got enhanced with the model’s white outfits and deserted surroundings, the more colored and ethnic pieces got accentuated with curve-hugging black blouses, the richness in textures of which perfectly recalls that of the big dangling earrings and detailed rings.

As the campaign draws to a close, Parfois gives us some cool girl power messages too, encouraging its customers to be brave, independent and love oneself no matter what. “Not having the pressure of someone expecting you. You make all the calls!” “I don’t do it to prove anything. To me or anyone else…”
