We Wore What’s Danielle Bernstein Debuts Own Shoe Line

Danielle Bernstein of the We Wore What fashion blog has been keeping herself busy this month. Her first business venture hit the racks in October, when Second Skin Overalls were released much to the joy of fashionistas everywhere. And already, just a single month later, we’re seeing her continue to expand her fashion horizons; Danielle Bernstein has announced “The Archive,” a new shoe line that has her teaming up with Jordan Adoni and that you can shop from Shopbop.com.

Adoni is a designer and founder of Modern Vice, a brand and manufacturer based out of New York City. So, Bernstein has all of the requirements to kick off a successful new shoe line: a great following, an established designer to work with, and a lot of fashion know-how. She will be the second fashion blogger in the last month to launch a new footwear line, with Leandra Medine of The Man Repeller releasing hers at the end of last month.

As we might have expected, Bernstein’s shoe collection is everything we could have wanted in a fall footwear collection. There are five boot styles in her line, all of which are staple fall pieces that will have you totally prepped for the coming season.

We have a Chelsea boot, a bootie, a glove boot, a lace-up boot, and a pair of over-the-knee boots. And within each style, there are different colors and materials, so there’s a bit of room for personal style to shine through. You will find styles in velvet, black leather, snakeskin, and suede, each of which will have a price point between $350 and $500.

All of the boots in the Archive shoe line are form-fitting, making them perfect to pair with leggings or your favorite fall skinnies. And she definitely wasn’t shy when designing her skin-tight thigh-high boots either. The material is stretched thin, but promises great style and practicality for your favorite dresses. They will give you the leg coverage you need to continue wearing your favorite mini dresses through the fall.

Likewise, her snakeskin booties scream fashion. That’s one of those fabrics that is either a huge hit or a huge miss, and in this case she played it very well; she knows how to style around a pattern – that’s one of the key features she has taken and run with in order to establish such a large and widely varying following on her blog.

Thankfully, we don’t have to wait very long. The Shopbop-exclusive collection will go live on Monday, so there will be plenty of time to get your order in so you can enjoy your stylish new boots through fall and into winter. There are also plans for the blogger-turned-designer to expand her collection, so you’ll not only be covered for this fall, but for fall 2017 as well, when she releases more styles to be added in.
