Classic Fall Makeup Tutorial In Neutral Colors

You already have that perfect outfit for a night out on the town, so why not complete the look with a bold and daring style, embodying the classic spirit of autumn? Each season has its features, and fall is definitely a time for deep colors and exaggerated strokes. There’s something about the fall and winter seasons that scream the need for an extra dose of extravagance. Maybe it’s being cooped up inside more often, or maybe we’re just trying to make up for all of the layers we’re wrapped in. Whatever the reason, it creates a beautiful trend that makes us look forward to fall every year. And what can make your fall even brighter and more memorable is an impeccable makeup look, which is why we present this classic fall makeup tutorial in soft earth tones that can look pretty seductive when matched with vampy lips.

A deep, red lip is the embodiment of seduction, but in the fall months it can take a completely new meaning. The mixture of deep, earthy tones outside may cause for a change, and it’s definitely a gorgeous seasonal feature. Much as people love watching leaves change colors, I feel the same way about watching as people alter their day-to-day makeup choices once the new season comes around.

So, in your time spent indoors this chilly fall season, you should learn to rock this classic fall makeup trend. In order to try out this fabulous tutorial, however, you must first have a set of makeup tools and colors, as follows:

• Makeup base, foundation, concealer
• Blush
• Eyebrow kit
• Eye primer (we recommend Too Faced Shadow Insurance)
• Eyeshadows in browns, golds, metallic silver and classic black
• Gel eyeliner
• Black mascara
• False eyelashes
• Nude rose lip-gloss or a deep burgundy matte lipstick
• Makeup brushes

Step 1: What we especially love about fall is that your skin doesn’t feel as sticky as in summer and you don’t face the problem of a cake-y look. This, however, doesn’t mean you should wear foundation to conceal any small skin imperfections. So as always, you need to apply a makeup base and then a foundation, layering concealer on any problem areas later on. Finally, add a subtle color to your cheeks to brighten up the look.

Step 2: Define your eyebrows with your favorite brow product (Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony), and then prep your lids for the eye makeup applying an eyeshadow primer.

Step 3: Blend a neutral, medium brown eyeshadow with a matte effect in the crease of your eyes (Fawn from ABH). Apply a warmer brown color to the outer V (Cognac from ABH).

Step 4: Apply a metallic gold eyeshadow all over your mobile lid (Amber from ABH). Next, use a light peach-y gold hue on the middle of the mobile lid (Peach from ABH).

Step 5: Use a metallic silver eyeshadow to highlight the inner corner of the eyes, while also making them look bigger and brighter (Metal from ABH).

Step 6: Create a winged line on the outer corner of the eye using a classic black eyeshadow (Noir from ABH). Use the same eyeshadow on the lower lid, gently blending it with the medium brown color.

Step 7: To add more drama to your look, apply black gel eyeliner to the waterline (Inglot AMC Gel Eyeliner #77). Finally, apply black mascara and false eyelashes (Red Cherry #43) if you want to take this look from day to night.

Step 8: When it comes to your lip makeup, you can either leave it subtle using just a dusty rose lip-gloss (Vintage and Undresses lip-glosses from ABH) or create a more intense look by opting for a dark burgundy lipstick with a matte effect (Heathers from ABH).
