How to Apply Lip Liner

Lips are the most delicate parts on our face that need to be accentuated correctly. For an ordinary look we can conclude with only applying a transparent gloss or a lipstick of natural colors that match our skin tone. But whenever it comes to special occasions, when we want to stand out in the crowd with sexy and full lips, we certainly turn to the help of a liner. A lip liner can be used for two reasons: first to make lips look fuller and secondly, to make full lips look a bit thinner. The principle of applying a liner is as follows: if you are aiming to have natural looking full lips then use the liner outside your natural lip line to create much volume. However, for the opposite effect, apply the liner on the inner lines of your lips, to slim them down.
How to Apply Lip Liner
To start with make sure to have clean and smooth lips. Whenever there are any open wounds or cracks it will be difficult to apply a liner and a lipstick as well. Use a scrub to make the dead skin disappear from your lips. Use a lip balm to nourish your lips. Then start applying the liner. Take a color that will match your lipstick. It can be a shade darker to give the needed effect. Create a thin line along the lip edges, starting at the center and going outward. Repeat the same action for the lower lip as well. Again start in the center and make your way to the left and right. Once you are done with this apply the lipstick. For a more dramatic look, go ahead to use a lip gloss as well. The latter will emphasize your lips even more.

If you are a beginner, better take natural colored liners, so that your mistakes are not so much revealed. Always apply the liner on clean lips. In order to learn easily how to apply a liner, start with dots first. Make dots on each side of your lips, and then connect the latter in a line, which is not straight, but goes well with the natural line of your lips. You can hold your lips with a free hand to make the line glide easily. And finally apply the lipstick with a brush. Finished!
Make these makeup tips help you in applying a liner and you will have perfect and naturally looking lips.
