2012 Oscars Red Carpet Dresses

One of the most anticipated events of the year, the 2012 Oscars or more formally known as the 84th Annual Academy Awards, was held on Sunday, February 26 at the Hollywood & Highland Center, showing A-list celebrities, who gathered to celebrate the biggest night in cinema. Aside from numerous exciting nominations, millions of fans had another chance to see their favorite Hollywood stars and admire their impeccable style on the red carpet. Nominated or not, all the actresses come dressed in the most exquisite and gorgeous designs from world-famous designers’ collections to flaunt their glamorous ways on the Oscars red carpet. So let’s take a look at the 2012 Oscars red carpet dresses and see who was the best and who failed in impressing!
Stunning Angelina Jolie hit the red carpet in a black velvet gown by Atelier Versace that showed some leg and that looked really amazing on her. Black peep toe platform pumps and Neil Lane jewelry complemented her red carpet look.
Emma Stone was shining at the 2012 Oscars in a punchy pink Giambattista Valli Couture gown, accessorized with Brian Atwood pumps and Louis Vuitton clutch bag.


Gorgeous Jennifer Lopez opted for a heavily embellished Zuhair Murad gown to impress at the show. She chose a Salvatore Ferragamo box clutch to finish off her glitzy look.
