CaKe: The New Fashion Line of Cara Delevingne & Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne are best buddies … but you probably knew that already, what you didn’t know is that the duo has decided to launch their own fashion line and the world is going crazy. Cara Delevingne & Kendall Jenner’s fashion line is called CaKe, an abbreviation for their friendship. It has even been trademarked last year. You might also remember “CaKe Tour” from t-shirts they wore last summer to support their friend Taylor Swift during her performance in Hyde Park.

CaKe: Cara Delevingne & Kendall Jenner Fashion Line

Is it true? Is it just a rumor? We don’t really know yet, but The Sun has picked up the story from a source and even if the girls never had any plans to launch a clothing line, they have a few dozen reasons to do it now. According to The Sun, some of the designs are all ready. The first phase will have hats and t-shirts designed by Delevingne and Jenner themselves. Despite this, the source has also informed The Sun that the brand won’t stop there and will be expanding.

One of the most popular items on the list is definitely the little black t-shirt already famous from the Swift concert (what a network of Swifties, isn’t it!). The source also reported that Kendall Jenner is the one who started the initiative and both girls see it as a fun project for now (we think Kris Jenner might have other ideas than just fun, it’s a pretty promising business after all), even though they are both sure about the success of the line. And who wouldn’t be?

Delevingne and Jenner are two of the most photographed women at the moment, their Instagram accounts are bursting with fan engagement, and Jenner got into the top 5 list of most popular models selected with user voting (coming 2nd after her other bestie, Gigi Hadid), so I think it’s more than clear for all of us that the CaKe clothing line will be nothing but success.

According to the same source, the main aim of CaKe is to have “its own stories in the UK and US,” as that’s where the models come from. These are also two of the major fashion markets, and after conquering them, the brand will undoubtedly go viral and international.

We have a feeling that no matter how original or fresh the line is, it’s going to be mega-hot among girls in their 20s, thanks to the huge army of fans both models are enjoying.
Also, Jenner has been attracting heightened media attention lately, getting featured for literally everything she does, including the sunburnt vacation with her bestie’s ex-love, Harry Styles. However, the newly crowned media favorite hasn’t officially announced anything yet, nor did Cara Delevingne.

But as we’re just as excited as their fans, we think there is a bit (and maybe a whole lot) of truth in the rumor. So, CaKe it is! We’ve got a new player, and we are sure more news on this line is on the way to us.
