Cara Delevingne Covers Vogue and Talks About Modeling

Cara Delevingne covers Vogue and we aren’t surprised at all, as after all she’s one of the coolest and most inspirational It girls of the moment, who attracts attention wherever she goes. She invaded the modeling industry to bring her own beauty standards that would inspire millions of girls to grab their brow kits and pencils and try to get such naturally chic and beautiful bushy eyebrows that have become the trademark of Cara. With her tomboy style, natural beauty and fun personality, Cara manages to be the queen on the runway, on the red carpet and in real life. No wonder, she’s the dream of many a fashion brand and retailer (she’s over thirteen million Instagram followers!), yet Cara is now paving her way for the movie industry, revealing in the interview with Vogue that modeling has always been a hobby for her, while acting was and is what she’s been dreaming of and considered real.

“The thrill of acting is making a character real. Modeling is the opposite of real. It’s being fake in front of the camera,” she states and we can’t but agree with her statement. Now, she’s shooting Suicide Squad that’s set to be released already next summer, but she has a lot of roles on the horizon, finally living her life the way she has always wanted to. You’ll be able to judge her acting skills watching her first leading role in Paper Town that’s to hi the screen this month. While many a supermodel would cherish the dream of changing their career trying their strength in the movie industry, Cara is one really gifted personality that has a lot to tell through her roles.

And while you might think fashion is the most interesting job every girl would dream to have, Cara is of the opposite opinion, stating: “I’m not sure I understand what fashion is anymore. I admit I was terrified to leave. I mean, the bubble gives you a kind of dysfunctional family. When you’re in it, you get it. And the second you’re out of it, you’re like, what the hell just happened?” Although we may not see her walking for the most famous runway shows any more (maybe for Chanel?), we still hope to see Cara Delevingne appear in lookbooks and ad campaigns of our favorite fashion brands and houses, after all we have seen so many celebrities collaborate with A-list brands, from Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman to Cher and Madonna!

Like many famous fashion houses and designers, Stella McCartney is also of the opinion that Cara is more than an ordinary model. “She has a fearlessness about projecting what she stands for, which is so rare,” McCartney says, “Cara would never pretend to be someone she’s not, and she’s not living her life for other people’s approval.” It’s her vibrant personality, her devotion to her true self and her rare talent to picture the person she’s been told to so skillfully that have put her in the same ranks as Kate Moss and other famous names in the modeling industry, and we are more than sure, she’ll be equally successful in the movie industry with a couple of films already set there to feature Cara, The Face of an Angel, Kids in Love and London Fields naming just a few among them!
