Remember when we found out that some of the Victoria’s Secret Angels were being turned into wax figures? It was quite the sensation really as generally the wax lookalikes to celebrities are made after their passing from this life onwards. It gives us a medium through which we remember all that they contributed to the world, whether it was through art or politics, inventions or otherwise. Now, it appears that there is a trend to make the wax figures of individuals, who are not only very much alive but quite young themselves, which includes the darlings of the fashion world of today, Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne, who’ll get their wax figures at Madame Tussauds during London Fashion Week.
It is certainly an experience when you come face to face with them, but it might be the only chance you get to take a picture with the revered stars that have been turned into grand role models by ardent young ladies. The wax figures have appeared at Madame Tussauds, same place as the Victoria’s Secret Angels, and that is where the exhibition will stay until the London Fashion Week coming in early February, on the 9th, which definitely give visitors enough time to get their picture taken with the really real-looking life-sized wax sculptures that have replaced the true celebrities. The show itself is aptly entitled “Fashion Week” by Madame Tussauds.
It is actually interesting that Cara is included here, despite the fact that she will not be included on those walking the runways during the London Fashion Week next month. She is looking to become an actress and that requires much of her concentration, which is why the effigy, which immortalizes her making an appearance during the week instead, is quite amusing to the gorgeous supermodel.
Cara Delevingne’s and Kendall Jenner’s waxworks have been created specifically for the fashion induced week coming up, which means that we will be seeing both her and Kendall enough times without the girls actually being in town even. The girls are quite pleased with the results of the waxwork, which is made abundantly clear through the girls’ Instagram accounts and photos.
It also seems like Cara’s going to generally be wearing the Saint Laurent dress through her waxen self. As for Kendall, she was having a bit too much time picking out the perfect eyeball to suit her own effigy, being picky about it as Madame Tussauds only allows for every last thing to be beyond perfect. Perhaps we should head out to London soon and check out the displays of the waxworks before the Fashion Week actually begins? It would surely be a trip to remember as we try to distinguish between the impeccably made pieces and the real ladies that might not actually be in town to allow for easy comparisons with.
