Gisele Bündchen Is World’s Highest Paid Model of 2012

No wonder, Gisele Bündchen is a gorgeous model, a super-stylish mom and wife and just an it-girl, who inspires women from all over the world. Now according to the latest Forbes’ report, Gisele Bündchen is world’s highest paid supermodel of 2012 with her $45 million earnings made from May 2011 to May 2012. The 31-year-old Brazilian hottie holds this position already for six consecutive years! No wonder, every girl would dream to be in her place. The list also includes such names as Adriana Lima, Kate Moss, Natalia Vodianova, Doutzen Kroes, Alessandra Ambrossio, Miranda Kerr and others.

“The ones that are coming up, their model for excellence is Gisele. They’re looking at her and saying ‘that’s what I want to shoot for,'” Ed Razek, chief marketing officer of Limited Brands told Forbes.
On how hard it is to find a girl with supermodel features, Razek explains: “In the entire history of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, 140 separate women have walked that runway.” He then added: “There are seven billion people on the planet. That makes each of them not one in a million, not one in five million, not one in ten million. That literally makes them one in 50 million humans.”
Bündchen, who is now expecting her second child with her hubby Tom Brady, has made most of her earnings from such endorsements as modeling, representing Pantene, Esprit, Versace, as well as real estate ventures. She also own a line of flip-flops called Ipanema.

The list also includes British model Kate Moss, who is in the second place with earnings $9.2 million, Russian model Natalia Vodianova in the third place with her $8.6 million earnings and others. Adriana Lima comes the fourth in the line with $7.3 million.
“Adriana’s a very modern, diverse beauty,” said her agent, Chris Gay, president of Marilyn New York. “She’s an ethnic mix of a girl, where quite frankly because she has such a multi-racial, multi-cultural background, everybody is accepting of her. That has always been her huge benefit.”
Dutch model Doutzen Kroes scored the fifth place, while Brazilian beauty Alessandra Ambrosio came the sixth. The youngest model on the Forbes’ list is Candice Swanepoel, who ranks the 10th. However, she certainly has great chances to grow and score better positions in the future. As for Heidi Klum, who ranked number two in 2011, she wasn’t included on the list of 2012 for the reason that she is now more considered as a businesswoman rather than a model.
