Hailey Baldwin Launches a Capsule Makeup Collection

Hailey Baldwin has just got off to a good start in the fashion industry, quickly becoming one of the world’s leading top models. Now, following in the footsteps of other equally talented and renowned supermodels, Haley Baldwin is launching a capsule makeup collection along with Australian label ModelCo, with products due in November 2016.

Hailey Baldwin Launches a Capsule Makeup Collection with ModelCo

As reported by WWD, 19-year-old Hailey Baldwin’s exclusive makeup collection consists of 25 items with price tags ranging from 55 AUD for a contouring palette ($42 USD according to the current exchange) to 25 AUD for a lipstick (19 USD). Given the fact that the American beauty has over 7 million followers on Instagram, ModelCo couldn’t miss the chance to promote the capsule collection via a hashtag, which, of course, is already going viral: #TheBeautySquad.

As if a viral hashtag wasn’t enough to make the beauty aficionados run amok on Instagram, Baldwin just promised all of her 25-stockkeeping-items will make you look as a walking Snapchat filter (if you follow her on either Snapchat or Instagram, you already know Hailey is a huge filter-lover herself and means business when it comes to filtered selfies).

“The Hailey Baldwin for ModelCo range is all about my signature go-to beauty products. I have always loved the world of beauty and was thrilled to be given the chance to show my creativity by collaborating with a cult-cool brand like ModelCo. I feel that ModelCo has a modern, innovative approach to beauty and I love that my fans can now create my personal beauty style. My product range is affordable, accessible and combines quality and femininity for a photo-finish inspired look and feel. Think filter-esque hues, sleek packaging and premium formulas,” revealed Baldwin.

To put it in other words, the Hailey Baldwin x ModelCo makeup collection will work perfectly fine whether you are just looking for something new to revamp your beauty routine, or even something super fancy to show off when you are going for a night out with your squad.

As for the quality of the products, those who are familiar with the beauty brand know ModelCo is quickly making its way among the main beauty brands, becoming popular internationally. Ever since Shelley Barrett launched it in 2002, ModelCo has been growing especially thanks to its gorgeous color palettes and tanning products, which are one of Australia’s best-selling products (more and more customers prefer a faux tan to a yearlong sun exposure, which could damage the skin).

Barrett, who before founding and working as ModelCo’s CEO was a model agent, has tapped iconic Elle MacPherson and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to work as ModelCo’s brand ambassadors throughout the years, and is now willing to turn her brand into a more millennial-approved kind of label, focusing not only on makeup, but fashion too.

“ModelCo is all about the no makeup makeup look, we’re all about natural glamour – I’m not a makeup artist, unlike a lot of my competitors. We’ve always said ModelCo is a fashion-based beauty brand. What we’ve done is we’ve taken a Millennial girl who is of the now and we’ve literally tailored each product to her and what she wears and what she uses,” concluded Barrett.

The Hailey Baldwin x ModelCo capsule makeup collection is going to be available at both brick-and-mortar ModelCo stores in Australian, and online at modelcocosmetics.com.
