Keeping up with the Kardashians star Khloe Kardashian is about to step in the magical world of body-positivism, launching her own denim line dubbed The GA Project that purely aims at spreading the body acceptance message and making everyone more prone to embracing their curves. Although the website is still under construction, the message it is spreading is already quite inspiring. The website’s home page welcomes us with a few powerful sentences revealing that the 31-year-old Kardashian is looking for a few brand ambassadors for her denim brand among her Instagram followers too.
“The body revolution is here […] We are all good, regardless of our shape and heritage,” the websites states, inviting everyone to join the GA Project’s secret mission by signing up for the casting. “The shape we lust for has curves, not the straight body of the fashion establishment. Some call it a new silhouette, we just think of it as embracing the body you were given.”
The casting call is open for anyone who lives in the USA, and those who prove to be eligible for becoming the project’s brand ambassadors will have the chance to not only work with Khloe, but also be a part of the overall testing and designing process, helping the designers create the best pair of jeans for curvy fashionistas. To be considered for the GA Project you have to be 18 or older, submit a full-body photo and fill out a form.
If you are particularly interested in working behind the scenes while also learning the secrets about fashion and design, this might be a fun lifetime experience indeed. The submission deadline is May 7, so you are still in time! The shoots will take place on May 9, and anyone who is selected has to be responsible for all the personal expenses, “including travel & lodging”.
The socialite has definitely chosen the best time to launch her denim brand, as we all know how trendy this timeless fabric is especially this year. We have seen denim used for cool jackets, ripped jeans, button-up mini skirts and more, yet when it comes to the perfect pair of jeans for women with curves, many still face some difficulty in finding a design that would be both comfy and on-trend. We hope Khloe’s denim creations will fill the gap, bringing in her personal sexy style infused with the up and coming fashion trends.
Although this is actually not Khoe’s first foray into the denim and fashion industry (does anyone still remember the Kardashian Kollection created by Khloe alongside her sisters?), the GA Project appears to be something completely different. Starting from the body-positive message and ending up with Khloe’s social media strategy (she cryptically began teasing us about the GA Project on Instagram on Wednesday), everything seems to confirm Khloe is willing to do something on her own and that is not related, in any way, to her sisters’ businesses. There’s however still something bugging us: what does GA stand for?
