Gorgeous Nicole Scherzinger has been selected as the new global ambassador for Herbal Essences. The 33-year-old singer, who is much known for her sex-appeal, beauty and luscious tresses, will appear in the brand’s print ads and TV campaigns, some of which will feature her music, set to debut in July 2012. No wonder, the beautiful diva represents the perfect fit for the brand, which is famous to the world for its sense of fun.
Nicole revealed to People her happiness for her latest gig, saying that, “It’s amazing. I have a big grin on my face and I’m glowing. I’m really proud to be partnered with this brand.” She later on added that, “It’s what I’ve worked so hard for my whole life. Not only to have music as my driving force, but to build my brand and be associated with products I believe in – those that are a direct reflection of who I am.”
The former Pussycat Doll also tweeted: “BIG NEWS: Thrilled to announce I’m @herbalessences new spokeswoman! Can’t wait for you to see the new ad we shot! … ”
She then confessed that, “I’ve always loved changing and evolving my style in my career, and playing with new and different hair styles has been a great creative outlet for me. I’m honoured to partner with Herbal Essences, because it’s a brand I like and admire for its celebration of self expression and for encouraging women like me to have fun with their look!”
Scherzinger seems to be much aware of the brand’s products, and on the day of the shoot she even gave advice to her styling team. “I know all the mousses, honey. Normally people associate mousse with perms, but with this hair, are you kidding me?! Mousse equals volumising,” she said.
As for Herbal Essences, the brand’s marketing director Kevin Crociata stated in a release that, “We’re thrilled to welcome Nicole to our Herbal Essences family. Nicole is such a beautiful, talented woman who lives every aspect of her life to the fullest. Her sense of self and her zest for life is a terrific fit with the spirit of the Herbal Essences brand.”
