When you are an It-girl and a famous person, whatever happens in your personal life interests the crowd, especially your followers. Olivia Palermo is always on the spotlight to this end, since she definitely knows how to dress fashionably to catch attention, let alone her impeccable natural beauty and fantastic life. Ever since, we learnt she got engaged with her long-time boyfriend Johannes Huebl, we have been impatiently looking forward to her tying the knot with her fiancé, as well as to seeing her bridal gown, which no wonder was to be perfect as she herself is! Well, good news for you if you are an Olivia fan! Despite the speculations denying the rumors, Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl got married this Sunday, on the 29th of June, 2014 in an intimate ceremony “under a cloudless sky and whisked away from the hustle and bustle of NYC… surrounded by ivy and blossoming flowers in a quiet park tucked away in Bedford, New York.” Olivia herself took the special news of her life to her official social accounts, stating: “I’m proud to share exciting news with everyone.”
“We really wanted to keep this beautiful day very private and special to us and enjoyed the whole day with our family and two friends. Bedford is such an amazing and romantic countryside,” the couple stated on the their choice of the place for this important life event!
From Cavalli to Valentino, various high-end designer names have been mentioned multiple times as the possible designer of the wedding dress the 28-year-old socialite and model was going to don! As a pleasant surprise to everyone, Olivia Palermo married in a magically beautiful and unique Carolina Herrera three-piece gown, composed of a full-skirt silhouette featuring a high slit, a tulle skirt worn over delicate shorts and romantically matched with a cashmere sweater. She added a “something blue” and bright to her look, accessorizing her wedding dress with a pair of cobalt blue Manolo court shoes. Her natural makeup with emphasis on her porcelain skin and beautiful traits, and her signature relaxed center-parted undone ponytail added a romantic vibe to her ethereal look, making her one of the most beautiful brides ever! “I wanted the makeup to be light and fresh and more focused about the lashes while keeping the eyes clean. My hair was in an uncontrived Pony Tail, one of my favorite personal looks,” Oliva stated on this.
Johannes completed his bride’s look perfectly, wearing a bespoke white Marc Anthony Hamburg suit with a Marc Anthony Hamburg piquet shirt, all accessorized with a navy Charvet tie and navy Etro pocket square.
Despite Olivia Palermo’s wedding being modest and small, it does reveal the couple’s endless love that they are proud to share with the fashionista’s fans on her personal website, on oliviapalermo.com! We wish them harmony, love and peace!
