Rihanna to Show Fenty Puma by Rihanna in Paris

The news that Rihanna will show her spring 2017 Fenty x Puma collection on Wednesday, September 28th during Paris Fashion Week hit the headlines two days ago. The intent to show in Paris was stated in her release where she said: “It’s a dream for me to be able to present my second collection of Fenty Puma by Rihanna in Paris,” further stating “I approached this season very differently and felt the theme and concept was best suited for one of my favorite cities, Paris.”

Rihanna to Show Fenty Puma by Rihanna in Paris

The show is stated to be more private, intimate and potentially low key than her previous spring show. All things considered with a brand as anticipated as Fenty Puma by Rihanna, showing in the City of Light, it is difficult to ascertain how low key they might mean.

Fenty Puma by Rihanna as a brand is edgy, fun and interesting. It does not focus on one element to pull off a look; all the pieces are usually interesting individually, while paired together the ensembles are seamlessly integrated, no piece overpowering another. While the easy fall back descriptor for a fashion line done with an artist in Rihanna’s genre is urban, this truly is an urban collection in some ways. This does not, however, change the fact that this line of clothes is easy to wear anywhere, as Rihanna shows often, with the right amount of confidence.

While many people were initially surprised to hear that Rihanna would not be showing her spring 2017 Fenty Puma by Rihanna collection during New York Fashion Week, they will not be disappointed as they don’t have to catch the show later if they do not want to. With a brand as popular and wearable as Fenty Puma by Rihanna, which surpassed even the anticipated numbers for each show, people will be ecstatic to tune in. Many people online have already begun stating how much they are looking forward to watching the show, regardless of the time zone.

Many fans of Rihanna are not only fans of her music, but her aesthetic as well. She rarely steps out of a door with a similar look. Every day Rihanna is wearing something interesting to see and the opportunity to be seen in something with her fashion flair is too much to resist for some. For others, it is easy to find a few options to love from her first collection, so expectations are high for the second spring collection. The expectancy for this show promises that plenty will tune in and plan on what they will buy the minute the fashion line is made available for purchase by the public.

For those who want to watch the runway presentation live, the viewing will be streaming exclusively on Tidal for both members and non-members. With Fenty Puma by Rihanna spring 2017 being livestreamed in two presentations (7:30pm and 8:30pm CEST), those who are not able to make it to Paris will by no means feel left out. There will be exclusive content that includes interviews and plenty of behind the scenes content.
