Victoria Beckham is a true renaissance woman. First she began her fame in the Spice Girls to show off her musical talent, before moving on to create stunning luxury apparel to show her talent as a fashion designer. It only seems fitting her next step would be to take the world of beauty by storm, and it seems like Victoria Beckham is soon to launch her own beauty line.
The stunning 41-year-old celebrity is married to David Beckham and has four children, so she knows how to manage her time and energy. This is the perfect skillet to have when transitioning into the fashion world. In an interview with The Telegraph, Victoria Beckham nudged around the possibility of an upcoming beauty line, which will share her name. She revealed the transition into the beauty world is something she would like to “go into at some point.” This may not seem too concrete of a statement, but knowing where Beckham has taken her career this far, it’s unlikely she’ll be stopping her expansion anytime soon.
She has created her luxury clothing line, VB, and also the more affordable Victoria by Victoria Beckham clothing line. She did a brief collaboration with Nails Inc. to create two polish colors, and has also dabbled in perfume creation, with her husband. She has already tested the waters of the world of beauty, so a cosmetics line would only further her already large celebrity dominion.
Beckham herself has a very clean palette when it comes to her makeup choices. Generally seen with a nude lip and smokey eyes, we know we’d be in for some luxe natural looks, but in her clothes she has displayed a clear understanding of the importance of color, so we would have a lot of expressive shades to look forward to no doubt. When Beckham shows her many Instagram followers what her favorite cosmetics are, the products soon vanish from the shelves, so clearly people want to be connected with this multi-talented star.
In a past interview with Fern Mallis, Beckham has shared more of her forward thinking. “I want to get into shoes, menswear, and childrenswear. I believe in dreaming big and that’s something I will continue to do.” There is something so inspirational about seeing someone have these wild dreams and knowing they will be able to go out and achieve them. She no doubt dreamt of having a successful music career, and also about her clothing line, so there should be nothing stopping her from these new goals as well. So tell us what you want, Victoria (what you really, really want), and we know we’ll see it on the shelves in no time.
She also expressed her desire to create a lower-priced line, with the intent of making “women feel great and empowered even if they can’t or won’t pay designer prices. When I see a stranger wearing one of my dresses I still get excited and will go up and tell her she looks great.” Hearing a famous designer getting amped up about her clothes, it really makes you feel good about being a part of their brand. We can’t wait to see her affordable beauty line to be launched soon!
