Altuzarra Spring/Summer 2014 RTW – New York Fashion Week

On Saturday, the Altuzarra spring/summer 2014 collection cast at New York Fashion Week amazed everyone with its modesty and the impeccable style that can be best described as elegant and just beautiful. According to fashion gossips and recent portfolios Joseph Altuzarra is doing just great. He is amazingly good at styling, combining styles and creating new looks. As many believe, the young star in fashion is going to be a big success not only in the United States, but also all over the world.

In the new Altuzarra spring/summer 2014 collection, all the designer did was combining some elements from his previous collection: charming draping and pinches from traditional styles mixed and matched in an artistic, creative and cute way. The collection was striking, stunning and hot. The mild mix of calming colors made the looks more pleasant and catchy. After all, what else does a woman need?
Altuzarra based the style of this collection on Boro, a very common term for Japanese fishermen and lower class people to sew together daily apparel and rags. Before the show the designer said he wanted to give the impression of how simple the skirt and the shirt were with the touch of handwork and how humble the process was. He gave his collection a casual tone half tucking the shirts under the skirts. The loose strings strengthened the impression making it more sensual and sophisticated.
Another good side of the Altuzarra spring/summer 2014 collection is that it won’t be hanging uselessly; in fact, it will most likely be the essential part of the women’s wardrobe not only for casual looks but also for cocktail parties.

Altuzarra’s collection is completely sophisticated and reasonably mature. It shows indeed how professional the designer is and what way he has to go. The delicate taste of choosing the best and the most beautiful will help him stay long in the capricious field of fashion, and will always please the most finical client.
