For the brand-new Balmain pre-fall 2014 collection, Olivier Rousteing experiments with his creativity and non-standard thinking once more, this time lending all the imaginative and modernized vibes with the traditional, and already archived wonders of Balmain. In this way, he managed to find the luxurious animal printed looks, which came side by side with the inspiration he got from the icon of the classic beauty Somalian model Iman, who is very well-remembered in the fashion world, having been discovered by American photographer Peter Beard, thanks to whom the model moved to the US and started her modeling career. The results of these inspirations came as an indeed impressive tropical-resembling and extravagant collection, which has a great deal of different and unique looks, exquisite silhouettes, and just as cool designs.
The animal prints remained as an essential part of the garments throughout the line. The first images show some very spectacular interpretations of it, putting those prints as layers for the pleated skirt, which comes matched with a nice long-sleeved top of generally black shade. The pants with top combination also shown with the same image is also noteworthy.
While the panther-printed details go on staying as complements for the looks, the color palette shifts towards khaki shades, introduced as a combination of cuffed wide-leg pants, an identically colored top, and a matching jacket. Another stunner in this theme is the duo of pleated knee length skirt with the nicely shaped classy top having some strictly outlined shoulder lines. The cross-folded motives for the tops to pair with the pleated skirts comes next, also having some glittery golden hues for the absolute glam.
Expanding the animal-print motives, the Balmain pre-fall 2014 collection also features super great zebra-printed pants for a soft coat and dress pair, followed with leopard prints for the amazing top plus pants plus jacket combo. While the details continue to preserve the curious drapings, prints, and shapes, the colors go on diversifying, also being presented with some dark tones of navy blue, paring the golden accessories, the animal prints, and the back pieces.
The luxurious fur garments, and the super alluring strapless dress with the best exemplification of the draping technique applied widely in the line are what make this collection more than special. The knitted pieces are also included in the list of the top looks.
Thus, Balmain rocks it again, presenting an uber-luxurious and fabulous collection, capable of meeting any of the capricious demands of girly fashionisers.
