Talking about the main shapes, colors and motives of the Barbara Bui spring/summer 2014 collection, we can mention the bandeau shapes first, which form an outstanding part of the line, being combined with pants, jackets, and shorts. Embroidery used on some pieces looks quite spectacular and cute. The trendy kimono shapes and cuts, which already have a real potential to become one of the most descriptive motives of the season, are found in this line as well, demonstrated via cuffed edges and soft blue shades, paired basically with pants.
The oversized shoulders found on some pieces are other eye-catching parts of the Barbara Bui spring/summer 2014 collection. The cute bustier motives were there to guarantee the cutest looks of the models. The main peculiarity of the skirts was probably their length, which was almost always fixed at the mini level.
Coming to the fabrics we may point the primary one being denim, sometimes accompanied with leather, chosen by incomparably smaller proportions. The pleated motives were one of the smallest and the most peculiar parts of the line. The continuation of such type of elements is the floral motives, ruffled designs, and cute handbags as well. The stretched leggings, frequently seen on the runway, form the individual combinations with cropped jackets.

Finishing up with the color palette, we notice the general calmness of it, mainly made of light blue tones, paired with white and at times a bit darkened shades with some black tones. Thus, we have a completely new interpretation of what has been said many times already, however having an interesting differentiating line of individuality and charm.
