BCBG Max Azria Pre-Fall 2016 Collection

Elegance is the key to beauty, and that is one thing that the BCBG Max Azria team knows well. Max and Lubov Azria have moved further south for their BCBG pre-fall 2016 collection, going towards Nashville and working in the rocking vibe that takes superstardom to whole new heights. We have long been fans of the couple that creates the loveliest of designs, and this time around, elegance went a totally different direction and channeled the Americana with gusto, giving studs, fringe and denim a whole new appeal.

BCBG Max Azria Pre-Fall 2016 Collection

The ‘70s looks might have been so last year but 2016 is not about ready to fully shed them and between paisley and silk or chiffon dresses and some rather glamourous sequined designs, we can say that BCBG is not about to let the trend go. It will be following us well into the end of 2016 and has us wondering about the trends that will be following thereafter.

The BCBG Max Azria pre-fall 2016 collection includes classic Western shirts and allover star prints, some rather interesting fringed culottes and key pant silhouettes that really made the line. The whole of the line-up was oozing a rather cool country charm, while we had some futuristic looks coming in as well. This included intriguing cross stitching over stark white tunic dresses, combinations of gold and silver with black, oversized tops and long skirts; we see a whole lot of black and white throughout, with some pinks, blues and moss greens.

High necklines are balanced out with plunging necklines, sharp cuts are balanced by long lengths, fringes played on with a good amount of lace. We realize rather quickly that elegance and Western make for a very chic effect.

Accessories included a good amount of silver, appearing in darker, more metallic appeals on matching open toe half boots and saddleback clutches, lots of gold in dangling earrings and on crisscross sandals, with lots of interesting tulle scarves appearing here and there. Large earrings mark the accessories section, while body art is a common look, appearing on arms as full out sleeves and encouraging a roguish personality to the general line of design.

Prairie dresses in translucent material look rather incredible, while the longer pieces are also balanced out by two particular outfits with the baring of legs. Open backs and open shoulders are so very much in style, but it is the open toe boots at different lengths that really make the brand.

Our favorite trends out of it all? Seeing stars appear on jackets and pants, while there is that one look that includes pure white coloring offset by a gold and black buckled belt, cinching in the waist of lace and fringe pulled over stark white culottes, worn with blue-silver open toe boots and oversized dangling gold earrings. It has become clear that BCBG Max Azria puts the black and white trend before all else, clearing up our confusion of what we are to wear come the pre-fall period. White stitched stars over black pants certainly sounds like fun!
