Beautiful suggestions for the spring/summer season seem to have no end. The Bimba & Lola spring/summer 2014 lookbook is the next one in the list, offering all the creative and youthful pieces that Bimba & Lola has prepared for us for the warm season. Top model Iekeliene Stange is the pretty face of the lookbook images, which are inspired by the main themes underlying this line. That’s Spanish artist Maruja Mallo and her 1952 piece Sirenas (Mermaids). Fashion photographer Javier Herranz created the awesome shots featuring the unique beauty of the model, the interesting look of hers posing for the lenses, and wearing the cool garments by Bimba & Lola. The spectacular background of the images contributes to the great effect of the shots, too.
So talking about the main pieces of the Bimba & Lola spring/summer 2014 cllection, we can start with the nicely printed straight silhouettes featuring a duo of a top and a skirt, the most interesting part of which is the cool cut on the back and the asymmetrical hems for the front and the back, followed by a pearl green stunner duo, and a minimalistically designed monochrome T dress matched with a cute clutch. The golden shades are also here presented with knee-length shorts, which are paired with a nice black top for the best match.
The diversity of the ocean-inspired prints for top and skirt and top and shorts pairs catches our attention right after. So do the cropped jumpsuits and their dress analogs with super nice cuts for the back again. The pleated bottom part for some dresses, and the wavily cut hems for the other one are also noteworthy. So are the delicate chiffon-made transparencies and the fishnet used for floor length skirts.
Thus, the Bimba & Lola spring/summer 2014 collection proves to be quite useful and interesting for our consideration, in case we want something modern, innovative, and of course beautiful.
