“Is that a bear beanie?” one might ask when looking at the first piece of the BSK by Bershka October 2013 lookbook. So yes, it definitely is! This is not something ordinary and usual. This is just Bershka introducing its new BSK line for the month of October. The Polish beauty Magdalena Zalejska’s collaboration with Bershka turns out to be a very fruitful one, presenting this brand-new and absolutely exclusive lookbook, the photos of which are taken on a descriptive metallic-inspired harsh background. Probably this choice can be best explained by the name of the collection: “Metal Call”.
So this metallic beauty is what constitutes the main base of the BSK by Bershka October 2013 lookbook. The looks introduced in the lookbook are quite few, which is common with Bershka. However, these few looks manage to provide us with an insight into the main shapes and designs of the whole line. The first look, having that curious bear beanie on, is combined with a nice cropped long-sleeve sweatshirt, paired with a gather skirt, and finalized with cool leggings having descriptive patterns, which are found on the majority of the garments in this collection.
The relaxed motives on the next look are matched with cool denim overalls, having skirt bottom and being fastened with a leather belt. Further continuing the cropped themes and peculiar interesting prints, a wool sweater is presented to our attention, combined with skinny jeans. Finally, it’s the checkered pattern put on a nice shirt, and later with a zipper jacket having fur lining and boxy pants that finish up the new Bershka collection. The one unifying detail for all of these looks, are the cool leather shiny boots.
We can point out the peculiar blend of concepts and trends that are domineering here, being adapted with the ideological predisposition of the designers to create something cool, glamorous, and metallic simultaneously. So when these features come together, we get the BSK by Bershka October 2013 lookbook.
