Chanel and Cara Delevingne go together like two peas in a pod, which is what makes the latest in collaborations between the fashion supermodel and the olden fashion house such a perfect relationship. Add Pharrell into the mix and you simply cannot go wrong. They appeared together in the “CC the World” film for Chanel and now they come once again and reunite to bring to us the Chanel Paris-Salzburg pre-fall 2015 campaign. Singer and musician Pharrell Williams brought to the world the “Happy” song, making him quite famous, and his appearance alongside the gorgeous Cara Delevingne has certainly been causing ripples. They just look too good together. The pair has been photographed by the famed Karl Lagerfeld, while the images also feature young Hudson Kroenig, son of Brad Kroenig. The two wear the French fashion house’s signature tweed and have it finished off with Austrian touches. The Austrian style footwear looks pretty amazing, rocked by both musician and model, showing off Chanel’s best, appearing in lace up turquoise boots for Pharrell and bow encrusted gladiator turned French shoes with wool sock layering for Cara Delevingne.
Colors common to the whole of the campaign include Hungarian green, emerald green, greyish sky blue, white and tan, alongside browns and navy, khaki and royal blues. We see some camel and we see some garnet hues, alongside the olive and the sea green coloring. There is just so much happening in these shoots, with the models appearing so very beautiful that we cannot help but fall in love over and over again. We must say that the Austrian touches are simply perfect. Then again, Cara does go funk and add brownish copper ruffles to her sleeves and her shorts, the high waist of the cut offs reach over the belly and the bandeau around her bust being the only covering underneath the old meet new styling of the blazer thrown over it all. The pieces are a twin set, a concept that is totally in for the spring, summer and now pre-fall seasons. The over the knee thigh high boots that lace up are so very much in and go perfectly well with the overall outfit.
Ruffles and golden buttons, major embroidery and noble livery seems to really bring out the sexy, the regal and the sophistication in the looks. Cara strutted out looking every inch the perfect Chanel girl, while she also goes pretty girl with her loose, translucent, majorly embellished top with short skirt and over the knee stockings, a dual tone coat slung over her shoulders. Daisy embroidery on her trousers also really brings out the beauty of the looks in tweed, the high ruffled neckline elongating the body that has been encased in the dark fabric.
As for the hair, think deep side part with waves and highlights going through, the makeup done up to accentuate the berry lips while really emphasizing the smouldering cat eyes. Add a soft smile to the look and you have a fantastic designer outfit complete with the facial additions to polish the finale.
