That’s definitely a fashionable start of the new 2013 year! We already have so many fashion campaigns released and now you can have a sneak peak at the one released by luxurious fashion house Chanel. Fronting models Stella Tennant, Ondria Hardin and Yumi Lambert, the newest Chanel spring/summer 2013 campaign takes us into a Japanese-themed tea house, despite the fact that the campaign was shot in New York by the one and only Karl Lagerfeld. The oriental feel of the Chanel spring/summer 2013 campaign is provided by the low traditional Japanese tables and the tatami mats placed here and there in the room, while in one photo the two models are even pictured lying like Sushi girls, only not naked, but wearing Chanel clothes.
Talking about his choice of 15-year-old Ondria Hardin as one of the models to star in the Chanel spring/summer 2013 campaign Mr. Lagerfeld gave an explanation to WWD saying: “[Ondria] doesn’t look 15. She looks 18 or 19.” Actually, she does! Wearing a see-through provocative black dress, she definitely looks older than she really is.
The Chanel spring/summer 2013 collection is all about understated elegance, minimalist looks, femininity and the signature styles of the legendary fashion house. Pearls were the only eye-popping embellishments used at the Chanel fashion show. “It’s more about the mood of the times, not something you have to translate,” the designer tried to explain the essence of the stunning collection during the show, “It’s all about the wind, it’s in the air.”
The Chanel spring/summer 2013 collection brings to the fashion scene such awesome trends as black and white combos, crisp white looks, polka dots, little cropped jackets, trapeze shapes, sequins and pointy-toe shoes. In the new Chanel spring/summer 2013 campaign, the talented designer shows that being unique, cool and bold speaks for itself!
