It’s summer! Well, not really, but when it comes to the latest collections being presented on the Net-A-Porter online retailer website, it certainly does not seem to be too far away. We have really taken a liking to the high fashion sales magazine style digital shop that was launched in London by Natalie Massenet in 2000 and named on a play on her own name. The last few days may have put the website at the forefront of fashion news due to its launch of a Chanel pop up shop, but it is the bohemian looks by Chloe for Net-A-Porter that have won our hearts of late. There is just something about this summer 2015 collection that is available at the moment, with its retro inspired tobacco suede coats and raw denim staples, the lacy dresses and ethereal lace up gladiator sandals, alongside the spacious “Faye” bags that had eyes turning towards the brand from the start.
Now, it appears as if we have something more to look at as we find ourselves staring face to face at an incredible summer collection that is a Net-A-Porter exclusive capsule line by Chloe, available only for a limited amount of time. It has been a few days now since this collection has been brought to the masses as the French fashion house teams up with the online retailer for a second time on a special project that is perfect both for the spring and summer months. The spring days seem to be shying away from us of late, with the erratic weather driving us crazy all over the world. It is nice to see our favourite brands bringing out awesome new designs to make us smile, even if the unwanted pattern of the weather has us sick in bed. We can thus imagine ourselves as bohemian goddesses, channelling that energy from within and allowing it to shine without. From lace tops to striped sweaters, ruffled accents and fun accessories, this is a collection that is ready to take on the warmer, more stable days by storm.
We already know that the spring and summer seasons have included a whole lot of matching twin sets. As such, it is certainly no surprise to see awesome lacy combinations of white ruffled tops and matching drawstring belted shorts. There is a totally retro feel to the lace top, one of bohemian serenity and 19th century innocence. The shorts have double layers, the simple white section underneath shorter than the circular lace aver top, lending a lovely silhouette to the legs. Paired with a loose top, the bared legs underneath are actually made to be the center of attention.
Chloe has awesome accessories as well. From gorgeous twisted bangles to fringed ornamentation hanging from the neck, the presence of chokers that will be in style until the end of the year as well as the shoes, we are looking at a collection that deserves a second glance. This particular exclusive collection includes a pair of two tone leather shoes as well, in a burnt orange and a mustard yellow, to be worn with perfectly manicured toes that have been painted with a nude coloring to bring the focus up to the sandal itself. After spending nearly $700, you will definitely want these to be the center of attention.
