Christian Dior Resort 2015 Collection

The astounding period of presenting the resort collections has started, which means that we are going to enjoy a full array of totally flabbergasting and creative design solutions and fresh fashion trends by the most popular fashion houses of the world! And, of course, the Christian Dior resort 2015 collection is one of the most significant and truly trend setting events within the framework of these options that we simple can’t omit! So the blinding fashion show that was presented in Brooklyn recently was one of the most memorable and great events in the fashion world. Raf Simons really managed to ace it once more and the result came as the ideal blend of the French chic with the Belgian iconoclasm, spiced up with the American homage and meant to please just anyone!

Talking about the Christian Dior resort 2015 collection a day before the show, Raf Simons noted, “I wanted to deal with [the carré] in a different way. Not as a styling element around the neck. I wanted to see how can we use that as an element [of design], and see how I could deal with prints and flowers in a different way.” He also noted to be aiming “to touch on elements of Dior history but also link to what I feel when I am in New York.” As for the challenge that he set for himself and stunningly accomplished, it was “the idea of having a simple rectangle to see what you can do with it.”
So this is, of course, promising and sweet and talking about the pieces we actually see in the Christian Dior resort 2015 collection, there are a number of details that we should specifically note. Thus, from the very first look we should speak about the cool ways of using mystique black. It turns into an ideal play pair for the minimalistic shapes and solutions and creates that ultra-elegant and feminine feel with just a single brushstroke! This is true to every look from straight and classic high-waist pants matched with cropped tops having boatnecks, and finishing with the ethereal all-black suit-and-pants combinations finished off with the classic black handbags and the peep toe shoes.

The glimpses of all-white looks and some knitted transparency plays come right after, followed by even more diversified options for black, like the coatdresses and the A-line dresses. Sassy red comes as an intermediary option between those strict and classic forms and the nice lace-like patterns that come adorning the following striking array of A-line dresses. Sunny yellow options are also here, combining the geometrical patterns with the luxurious transparency plays.
The abstracted forms of the dresses and the outerwear garments catch our attention later, being especially well put in terms of prints and patterns. Black, white, red, blue, khaki green and some other tones help to complete the stunning effect these pieces produce. In addition, floral patterns and stripes come as the ideal accompaniments for the following abstracted forms and interpretations. Muted and darker shades go on with the presentation. Maxi skirts and other forms of A-line pieces also manage to catch our attention.
