Claudia Schiffer for Guess 30th Anniversary Ad Campaign

When one legendary fashion house teams up with an iconic, world-famous model, the result is impossible to be something ordinary. Prepare to be fascinated forever both by the beauty of Claudia Schiffer and the ultra-fashionable pieces signed Guess, as the 41-year-old supermodel poses for the newest Guess 30th anniversary ad campaign lensed by Ellen Von Unwerth in Sorrento in Italy. The sexy supermodel looks undeniably seductive and awesome throughout the shoot as ever after 23 years, when she was posing for the brand in six Guess campaigns from 1989 to 1991.
The renowned brand is celebrating its “30 sexy years!” by releasing a special 15-piece capsule collection inspired by iconic Guess girls. And the new Guess campaign is just bewitching with all those black and white photos, exactly like the ones taken by von Unwerth back in 1989.

“Guess will always have a soft spot in my heart, and I’m excited that 23 years later we can still work together so successfully,” Schiffer told Women’s Wear Daily. “Shooting the Guess 30th anniversary campaign was like going back in time. It brought back so many great memories and has been a lot of fun working together again with Ellen and Paul.”
The chief executive officer and creative director of Guess, Paul Marciano is also extremely excited to work with Schiffer for this exceptional project. “She was a turning point of Guess, she was a turning point of Ellen’s career, Guess was a turning point of a life for Claudia,” Marciano told WWD. The campaign image “made her career in my view, and that made Guess a different company. Everybody talked about the Guess Girl,” he said.
The advertising campaign video starring the gorgeous German supermodel was developed under the creative direction of Paul Marciano, CEO and Creative Director of GUESS? Inc., and directed and shot by photographer and longtime GUESS collaborator, Ellen von Unwerth. Actually, back in 1989 Paul and Ellen teamed up again for Claudia’s first GUESS campaign and “the three have reunited now for the print and video campaign to celebrate this special milestone for the brand.”

The exclusive Guess 30th Anniversary Collection draws inspiration by the house’s famous clothing pieces worn by iconic Guess girls over the last three decades. The 15-piece collection features pieces inspired by Claudia Schiffer, Laetitia Casta, Naomi Campbell, Bridget Hall, Drew Barrymore and Estelle Lefébure. There are wide-neck T-shirts featuring the bedazzled images of Line Gost and Anna Nicole Smith, a sheer blouse with wild leopard prints, jeans with a cut-off waistband originally modeled by Adriana Lima, the three-zipper Marilyn jeans and a sleeveless black-and-white gingham top worn by Eva Herzigova.
The capsule Guess 30th Anniversary Collection is scheduled to be launched on April 24th in Guess stores worldwide and on a new website,, which has been especially created to mark the brand’s anniversary. These exceptional Guess pieces will retail for the price ranging between $39 to $138.
