Clements Ribeiro for Evans ‘Swan’ Collection

And who said that fashion exists only for perfectly sculpted, slim silhouettes? To celebrate plus size fashion, the Clements Ribeiro brand decided to team up with a popular clothing retailer and come up with a super fabulous line, which will make the beauty of feminine curves get revitalized. The Clements Ribeiro for Evans ‘Swan’ collection features ladylike and impressive dresses with a touch of vintage glamour, relaxed pants and chic tops for plus size voguish girls, who try to look stunning both on casual and semi-formal events.

The designer duo behind the Clements Ribeiro brand revealed to Marie Claire that, “Evans approached us about this time last year. Until then, we were not thinking about plus-sizes, but were instantly fascinated. Clearly, there was a great opportunity there to do some great work. We also liked them all straight away; they are really committed to their customer and we really clicked with their team!”
It’s more than explicit that comfort is the main focus of the Clements Ribeiro for Evans ‘Swan’ collection. A touch of gorgeous prints, like florals, hearts and arrow patterns, and these lovely dresses will turn into fabulous stunners that will make you the queen wherever you go. As the couturiers behind the Clements Ribeiro label stated, “Shapes become really important and proportions are quite different. Comfort and respect are essential and fashion ideas need to be adapted to that, they cannot be imposed at will.”

Besides amazing prints, the designers also paid lots of attention to small details. “A sexy dress that makes the most of her shape and accentuates her assets — like a great neckline, for example. A great coat that doesn’t swamp her in fabric and elongates her figure — in cotton drill for the summer, and in a great wool blend for winter,” they revealed.
Adele is one of the celebrities, who managed to revitalize plus size fashion. Designers Suzanne Clements and Inacio Ribeiro said that, “She is great as a fashion icon because she sticks to her personal style. She loves fashion, but in public, she wants to be her own brand, not a fashion billboard. The fact that she is so gorgeous and comfortable in her own skin — and body — makes her even more of an inspiration than she already is as a singer.”
The Clements Ribeiro for Evans ‘Swan’ collection goes on sale on March, 31.
