Apparently, the ethnic trend is going to rule in the upcoming fall 2013 too, as we reveal it from New York Fashion Week. Custo Barcelona was the brand that made this trend the philosophy of its cold season collection, which looked way too chic and stunning on the catwalk. “Beauty and the Beast” is the name of the newest Custo Barcelona fall/winter 2013-2014 collection, and it’s actually also the source of inspiration behind these colorful and patterned Spanish clothing pieces. One could instantly notice the beauty in the Aztec prints and mini designs, while the beast was hidden in the shaggy fur and patched coats.
It’s not the first time that two contrasting trends combined lead to something awesome and memorable. Custo Barcelona tried to combine two contradicting features in a single collection: beauty and the beast. As a result, the Custo Barcelona fall/winter 2013-2014 collection brings statement-making coats, sexy mini dresses and skirts, tailored pants, printed crop tops and sweaters, knitted mini dresses and fabulous footwear.
The Custo Barcelona fall/winter 2013-2014 collection mixes various styles and trends with each other, including seventies vibes, tribal prints, patchwork, brocade, sequins, metallic embroidery, gold studs, leather inserts and fur trimmings. They look absolutely stunning on the background of earth colors and grays. The show was closed with a look-at-me black cocoon coat featuring gold flecks. Overall, the line was impressive and, of course, typical Custo!
