Another super successful experiment with the black shade has been carried out by Donna Karan and presented as the astounding DKNY fall/winter 2014-2015 collection, unveiled for New York Fashion Week. The tendency to create real garments for real people inspired the brand once more, and provided with the necessary grounds for the launch of the following super youthful and wearable line, which also has something to amaze us with. Here, the catchiest details came as fur with black syntheses, miraculously fitting within the frames of what is called uber-chic and girly. Still, the sporty motives always present with these lines were found here, too.
The show started with a fabulous array of fur outerwear options, created with a diversity of shapes and shades, in this way coming with options of black matched with some glittery details applied to the pieces they topped, some stripy and oversized looks, being one of the most luxurious looks, and some all-white options for a softer touch. The houndstooth pepita prints never fading away from the list of the fashion trends represented the following nice array of looks, designed with a comfy coat, and a pair of girly tops, in case of which we saw some deconstructed sections of this pattern put all over.
The typical DKNY signature prints were also in the DKNY fall/winter 2014-2015 collection, introduced with the hoodies and the DKNY or just D reading text prints on the sportiest tops. The spectacular leather-like texture used for the final array of the silhouettes like the wide-leg pants, flare skirts, and the dresses are also quite noteworthy in this respect. So are the super creative patterns looking like a result of the mix of camouflage and zebra prints! Finally, it’s the energizing orange shades that invaded the runway coming in solo and in stripy patterns.
The DKNY fall/winter 2014-2015 collection manages to satisfy the needs of the revolting and carefree youngsters once more, coming up with the comfiest options for daywear and parties, why not!
