You say Dolce & Gabbana spring/summer 2014 collection, we say WOW! This collection literally put the ancient Greek mythology ladies down to the runway of Milan Fashion Week today. And this was primarily due to the ancient motives attached to the masterpiece-like garments that you want to own immediately! First, it were the ruins of the ancient Greek temples and other historical buildings, printed on those super elegant tee dresses and skirts cut at the knee level. Further came the magnificent floral elements put as appliqués and just prints.
Those cute little flowers on even cuter cocktail length dresses seemed to be so real, as if going a bit closer you would feel that smell of those wonderful almond tree flowers spreading around in spring. Another eye-catching part of the Dolce & Gabbana spring/summer 2014 collection was the golden shiny look of some pieces, created via beadwork of glittering golden theme. Further, it was money that spoke on the runway of Milan. The models came out wearing outfits literally covered with golden coins of ancient origin. In the following exemplifications of this theme, the coins acted as finalizing elements for the garments, coming as belts and heavy accessories.
Talking about the new Dolce & Gabbana accessories, we can’t miss out the cute handbags either. Finally, the goddess-like looks of the models would be incomplete if it weren’t for the wonderful hairstyle matching perfectly with the clothes.
The ‘sweetness’ of the Dolce & Gabbana spring/summer 2014 collection was worked out with the help of extremely cute short and tee dresses at times fastened with huge “coinal” belts, and looking so amazing that any girly fashioniser would release a deep sigh looking at therm. Mainly made of silk, they carried those sunny spring flowers on them, being put within the motives of rose and passionate red overtones.
Coming to the fabrics used, we can’t leave out the sumptuous fur elements either. They were the greatest cornerstones of feminine elegance and chic during this show.
Goddesses are visiting Milan more and more often recently. This time it was the Dolce & Gabbana spring/summer 2014 collection to invite them. Looking forward to meeting them again!
