Elie Saab Fall 2017 Bridal Collection Is a Dream Come True!

When Elie Saab launched his bridal line earlier this year, his fans couldn’t help expressing their happiness. Now that the fashion designer just lift up the lid on his second bridal line, namely the Elie Saab fall 2017 bridal collection, we also entered a sort of a magical ecstatic state we find it hard to get out of.

Elie Saab Fall 2017 Bridal Collection

With only ten styles available, Lebanese designer Elie Saab managed to keep his fall 2017 bridal collection updated and traditional at the same time, of course, without forgetting to immerse everything in his signature dramatic style. Saab is, in fact, never afraid of grandeur, and we couldn’t therefore expect anything but princess-like, grandiose proposals from him, crystal-encrusted gowns that could make anyone instantly start daydreaming about their wedding.

As usual, as seen in Saab’s ready-to-wear and haute couture seasonal collections too, this specific Elie Saab fall 2017 bridal lineup is overall extremely feminine, which in this case is not in any way to be intended as synonyms with discomfort.

Like many other designers, Saab also interpreted the dance-floor-ready trend in his own, imposing way, meaning that most of the 10 proposals will keep you astounding from the altar to the actual wedding party. Sporting a theatrical, oversized dress that instantly becomes cozy and easy-to-move-in is, in fact, the next fall 2017 bridal trend, and Elie Saab just egregiously proved to be a master of the trend.

This Elie Saab fall 2017 bridal collection also greatly varies in styles, treating the brides-to-be to a line-up that might be purely traditional, but is not banally repetitive for sure. Although flared, ruffled and oversized gowns are the collection’s most recurring motifs, Saab opted for more sinuous, curve-hugging silhouettes too.

The latter got mainly translated to two different, yet equally glamorous themes. While on the one hand we have the party-ready, sensual mermaid dresses with plunging slits on either the side or front, on the other we have sophisticated Thirties and boho-chic inspired figures, which delicately enhance the waists and the necklines.

Interestingly, compared to other fall 2017 bridal collections, Saab focused on more conventionally autumnal and winter inspired materials, introducing cascades of feathers on gowns, warm bolero jackets and even furry embellishment that will just make anyone look like the ultimate Winter Princess.

Beaded accents, intricately embroidered floral motifs and, of course, lace and tulle fabrics complete each one of the proposals with a timeless appeal that is very dear to Elie Saab, and which just makes us hope for many more astounding Elie Saab bridal collections to be unveiled.
