Emporio Armani Fall/Winter 2014-2015 Collection – Milan Fashion Week

There’s no doubt that androgynous fashion is going to reign in the new fall 2014 season and the newest Emporio Armani fall/winter 2014-2015 collection is another advocate of this chic trend. As the show notes of Armani read, it was “A story about fashion, where masculine and feminine elements come together.” There couldn’t be any better definition of the fabulous garments showcased in this line, which draw inspiration from Luc Besson’s “Nikita”, namely the “strong attitude, but with clothes that everyone can wear,” as the designer stated. As a result, the Emporio Armani fall/winter 2014-2015 collection demonstrated a harmonious blend of the perfect tailoring, the admirable masculine chic style and the feminine sophistication that together made the show undeniably luxurious and impressive.

The Emporio Armani fall/winter 2014-2015 collection is definitely one of the strongest lines unveiled during Milan Fashion Week fall 2014. The focus on tailoring was noticed from the very beginning of the show, when we saw the array of gray mannish suits and double-breasted coats with emphasized shoulders. Wholly, gray and black reigned on the runway throughout the show, being sometimes interrupted with white, very few splashes of blue and glittery sequins.
The Charlie Chaplin inspiration was also quite explicit in the Emporio Armani fall/winter 2014-2015 collection, as the models came out wearing the mid-cropped tailored culottes and the oversized bowel hats that instantly caught the attention. The use of chic velvet and the men suit patterns is another noteworthy aspect about the line. The former one was mainly used for designing the eveningwear options, which managed to preserve the primary theme of the collection, still appearing utterly demure and ladylike. In this array, we can also note the smoking dress and the elegant tuxedos featuring pearl pinstripes for a totally bewitching effect.

The accessories were also special and fashionable, mainly bringing spectacular heeled shoes in patent leather, monochrome moccasins, small bags and clutches, as well as chunky bracelets, masculine collars and, of course, hats. Every small detail in the Emporio Armani fall/winter 2014-2015 collection was designed to radiate a high dose of masculine elegance merged with feminine sophistication and to enchant the admirers. We can assuredly state that the goal was met!
