Emporio Armani SS 2016 Campaign Takes to Barcelona

Have you walked out impressed from Emporio Armani’s spring/summer 2016 collection, which was presented during the Milan Fashion Week? Yes, we were too. It’s time for the second wave of admiration; the brand has released its new ad campaign. The Emporio Armani spring 2016 campaign taking us to one of the most cultural and spectacular cities of Europe, the beautiful Barcelona! It’s an easy stop from Milan, take the vibes, pack your new Armani collection and let’s decide what our next destination is.

Emporio Armani Spring 2016 Campaign

For now, we’re going to cruise through the streets of Barcelona and visually soak into Armani’s new collection. Out of all the cities in Europe, the multicolored and multitextured Barcelona would be the one to host the neutral color palette of the collection – cheers to the never-ending contrast! There is so much happening in the background that the focus successfully drops on the fashion, with the help of a few technical tricks too, of course.

Models Luna Bijl and Filip Hrivnak are in the spotlight as the lead actors of the Armani story. We get the fierce look from Bijl – bold, sophisticated ready to take on the world. Hrivnak, on the other hand, seems to fall back on the female colleague. So, Bijl gets all the attention, regardless of the perspective and her position. We love her, and can’t wait to see her future work!

We were initially very interested to find out how the collection would be presented, our imagination going wild after the show. We love elegance, and we also love the brand new oversized trend, but we think it’s rare for these two to come together in harmony. Some campaigns just don’t deliver enough… unlike Armani that surprised us with a very good sense of mix-matching trends (who would doubt that!).

The tasteful combo of black-and-white photography and softness of color shots additionally increase the impact of the classics. We believe this ad campaign would still rock in a decade.

The ad shots altogether complement the exquisite designs of the collection. Armani confirms that you can still look feminine wearing wide-legged trousers and oversized blazers. Forget those tight dresses you can’t move in, confidence is the new sexy. The beauty should not show, it should radiate. The soft and warm colors of the collection will help you leave a footprint of grace wherever you appear, just like the extravagant Spanish city.

Armani has also added a few flavors from the ‘90s, like the messy updo and the sunglasses. And this is also not accidental at all! The collection is called “The Summer Breeze” Looking good and all ready for some Spanish fiesta.

Well, we’re already feeling the summer breeze coming from Emporio Armani. We can feel the culture, long-lasting traditions and designs, and those are the main causes of our excitement. Are you excited too?
