The Emporio Armani spring/summer 2014 collection unveiled at Milan Fashion Week promises a cool and relaxed spring to fashionisers. Deeply plunged in soothing and cool colors, the garments carry the touch of universality, that is, of being quite wearable to various occasions. Elegance is not missing out of this line either. No wonder, Armani has designed one of the most down-to-earth and mature lines of spring 2014!

Femininity and elegance are guaranteed by cute satin dresses worn under various suits and jackets, as well as via cropped and straight pants, nice and absolutely unique tops and asymmetrical skirts. The color palette this time is rich in cool and pacifying shades. They are mainly within these frames even in case of violet and dark blue, not mentioning about cream, silver and white.
Coming to the design of the pieces, we can talk about certain details. First, that’s the floral motives used on some outfits. They are created via embroidery, lace and of course, prints. Further, the appealing impression of these motives is taken deeper with the help of chiffon and organza fabrics, which overlay the prints in case of some dresses and skirts and look really stunning. However, it’s not only with florals, that these fabrics are used. In case of many other garments, they act as the main heroes coming out in solo. This is especially true about multi-layer greenish grey knee length dresses worn under cute jackets with embroidered collars and lapels. They also appear as tops perfectly matched with cropped, gaucho-resembling and straight pants.
Still, the major booms of the Emporio Armani spring/summer 2014 collection created with the invaluable help of chiffon were the extremely cute knee length multi-layer chiffon dresses giving the models something more than just grace and stunning looks. Talking about the shapes, we can’t leave out the deep V-cuts of some tops, as well as the cute and small scarves accompanying the garments and complementing the wonderful image created by Armani.

The finalizing details of the Emporio Armani spring/summer 2014 collection, however, were the leggings, which as it was presupposed by the primarily created idea, were to “cover the skin like a tattoo conveying the effect of an uninterrupted brushstroke”. Summing up the impressions, we can surely state that this collection is going to be one of the loudest says for the world fashion trends.
