Ermanno Scervino Spring/Summer 2015 Collection – Milan Fashion Week

The Ermanno Scervino spring/summer 2015 collection, which has just been showcased for Milan Fashion Week, truly captures the elegant style philosophy of the famous fashion house. Being founded at the outset of the 21st century, Italian fashion house Ermanno Scervino has managed to bring scores of innovations into the fashion world. In his collections Ermanno Daelli, the designer of the brand, after whom and entrepreneur Toni Scervino the label is named, was able to bring to life the dream of a modern woman, that is to get pleasure from chic clothing, luxurious fabrics and fashionable items. Being a master of his craft, Ermanno has always been able to anticipate and predict the desires of women.
The brand Ermanno Scervino is elegant and feminine and its pieces carry the influence of Mr. Daelli’s travels. Being familiar with the traditions and cultures of different countries around the globe, he tries to revive ethnic elements in his collections thus taking us on a fascinating journey through the endless world of fashion.

The outfits presented at the Ermanno Scervino spring/summer 2015 collection show are a perfect fit for creating everyday feminine looks. The new collection is designed in gentle, soft colors, perfect for spring and summer season. One interesting aspect of the collection that we could not miss is that Daelli, stepping away from traditional fabrics, had used raffia to design the outfits (and even bags!) in his new collection. The show started with a combination of light green and blue and we saw off-shoulder green dresses with waist-accentuating belts, blue and green button down hooded coats, strapless tops with matching pencil skirts, green short dresses with ruffled skirts, blouses with bateau necklines.
This year light baby blue seems to be at the forefront of trends as well. Daelli had used to color to design tulip skirts with buckles on one side paired with matching tops, strapless bra-like tops paired with matching high waisted shorts/pants and topped with jackets adorned with flower cutouts, thin see-through sweaters with a touch of shimmer in them, loose fitting coats with wide sleeves and again decorated with floral cutouts and so on.
Before introducing us his pieces designed in the eternal contrast of black and white, the Italian designer also showcased a series of all white dresses that looked very feminine and pleasing to the eye. For these dresses, Daelli had used cotton, lace and even silk.

The Ermanno Scervino spring/summer 2015 collection proved that snakeskin is going to be among one of the hottest trends of the coming year. The pattern was done in black and white and was used in coats, jackets, tulip skirts, dresses with twisted necklines and so on. As a “radiant” way to close the show, Daelli had chosen two shimmery dresses, which, despite being very simple in design, provided a very exciting and dazzling end to the show.
The only accessories that the Ermanno Scervino spring/summer 2015 collection brought to us were raffia and panama straw bags and small clutches formed like boxes that matched perfectly with the outfits. Wholly, it was a collection that skillfully blended the modern and innovative with the elegant and classic!
