Everlane x Opening Ceremony: Everything You Need To Know

Set to hit Everlane’s website in a few hours, the Everlane x Opening Ceremony fall 2016 capsule collection is coming sooner than what you may think, and here is everything you need to know about it! Everlane and Opening Ceremony have, in fact, recently decided to team up and set the bar higher for anyone who is ever going to release a capsule collection of warm, fancy sweaters just in time for the colder winter months, and now that we can finally see the final results, we couldn’t be more excited.

Everlane x Opening Ceremony Fall 2016 Collection

The collaboration of Everlane and Opening Ceremony resulted into a super exclusive, super mini, limited edition capsule collection, as it is solely made of only two comfy chunky cashmere sweaters. The collection includes thus a cropped crew sweater available in both camel and navy ($225), and an ultra-chic, turtleneck available in ivory and pink ($325). With turtlenecks and bubblegum pink all the rage at the moment (and next spring too), we bet the second one will fly off the shelves in the blink of an eye, just to end up being quickly featured in everyone’s Instagram timelines.

With both Everlane and Opening Ceremony being extremely on point whenever it comes to edgy minimalist styles, as well as transparent and conscious in sharing their production process, we are not surprised many fashionistas (both men and women, as the capsule collection is rather genderless) ran amok as soon as Everlane and Opening Ceremony unveiled their limited edition collection’s ad campaign. The pictures the brands released are anything but fresh, sophisticated and intriguing, and perfectly encapsulate the cozy and covetable spirit of the designs.

Things will officially become even more frenetic starting from October 13th, which is when the two-piece collection is going to be eventually available for purchase.

Everlane x Opening Ceremony Fall 2016 Collection

As if things weren’t already exciting enough, Everlane and Opening Ceremony are planning on launching a mysterious full-on holiday collection later on November 15th, which will surely help us add even more winter-ready, one-of-a-kind must-have staples in our wardrobes. Are Everlane’s creative director Rebekka Bay and Opening Ceremony’s visionary minds Humberto Leon and Carol Lim about to take over the fashion industry with a new, quite affordable, minimalist haute couture formula? We hope so!

The Everlane x Opening Ceremony capsule collection will be available for shopping in the Opening Ceremony stores in both Los Angeles and New York City, where the brands’ fans will have the unique chance to shop for the 13-piece Everlane exclusive cashmere collection in a brick-and-mortar store, too.
