No doubt, New York-based designer Kara Laricks managed to satisfy both the jury and the audience with her unconventional line that mixed a few unexpected and non-conformist elements into casual chic outfits. And now the rising designer teamed up with H&M, resulting into a super-voguish lookbook that is sure to have a great success. The latest Fashion Star winner Kara Laricks for H&M collection highlights the revolutionary style vision of the designer and is sure to appeal to young fashionisers, who try to look unique.

Famous fashion blog Fashionista asked Kara about her style vision, and she answered as follows: “If there’s one message that I hope to get across to people it’s that avant garde is not necessarily scary or weird or out there, it’s different. If I can push people to take a little bit of a risk and try something different, if it doesn’t work out for you, you can take it off at the end of the day and do something different tomorrow, but you know it’s just good to have that option and it feels good to be able to provide those women who want that option with it.”
The interview with Kara also revealed that she is going to create an affordable and sophisticated collection. H&M proved to be the perfect retailer to work with and the result is really fascinating. The collection featuring the designer and Joan Smalls is maximum sassy and fun.

The Kara Laricks for H&M collection is enveloped with lots of attitude! The designer opted for a suit-all color palette, flattering silhouettes and a refined print work, which are the cravings of modern fashionisers. The line features printed frocks and gorgeous maxi skirts, mannish suits and short shorts, little black dresses and versatile blouses. The abstract patterns and delicate neutrals used make these avant-garde pieces versatile and hip trendy, while the haute glamour infused turn the ensembles into signature pieces. Browse through the complete line and hurry up to get your favorites and look different in the new season.
