One of the loveliest and most exceptionally beautiful spring 2015 collections yet revealed is the For Love & Lemons Pacific Gateway spring 2015 line. Currently based in Los Angeles, the brand began its life in Jackson, Wyoming, wherein the first ready-to-wear collections were followed by a line of lingerie and knitwear, all of encompassing days selling lemonades under the sun and falling in love as the warmth of the days warmed our hearts. Custom-made lace and engineered placement embroidery are the specialties of For Love & Lemons, truly standing out from amidst a crowd.
We see such lovely coral colors sticking out from the For Love & Lemons spring 2015 collection, with the gorgeous lace sheathing the body and leaving the essential parts pare. It’s lovely to wear on the beach or even on a stroll enjoying the fresh spring air, while golden bangle adornments filling up most of the arm up to the elbow are certainly the perfect added touch to most of the looks. Crop tops and shorts hems are a constant in this collection and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome of it all. After all, twin sets with crop tops and skirts are all the rage in spring 2015.
There are so many different trends utilized in a single piece that For Love & Lemons shows off in this lookbook that we are just letting our eyes feast on the seamless integration of it all. The sheer lightweight fabrics have been nicely translated into bikini tops and coverall robes, while pretty blue floral patterns manage to hide peeking nipples and give the whole ensemble a feel of a fresh spring bouquet. The strappy wraparound portion of the top piece is reminiscent of La Perla’s spring pieces, while the high waist of the bottom piece, both in a nude color, give off the illusion of a naked nymph frolicking through the bluebell dotted meadows.
A translucent white tunic shirtdress is also a part of the For Love & Lemons spring 2015 collection and makes for a lovely piece to throw over your head, on top of your swimwear, and head down to the beach with. It also works as a great piece of garment that allows your legs to peek through the side slit as you walk down the street looking like spring itself, sprung from the warm waters of the ocean. Those bangles are an integral part of nearly all the looks available, but they do much at focus the gaze on the fabrics instead.
Not everything needs to be lacy and short either! On the contrary, some of the looks presented are actually quite long, with maxi lengths that are a less seen trend, but still a preferred look to the minis on the runways. Tropical floral prints in white against a black background are also looking simply fabulous, while the long dress envelops the both like a sheath. A high collar and sleeveless design also add to the sophisticated look, moving the lookbook away from the young girl and towards the grown woman who knows how to show off her chic attitude without also showing off too much skin. Add circle lenses to your sunglasses and pull half your hair up into a top knot and you officially defy the conventional and mix modern with ‘70s style in a rather unique manner.
