For Love & Lemons Unveils a Capsule All-White Collection for Summer 2016

Whenever I think of summer, I can’t help but picture myself barefoot at the beach, flaunting a billowy white frock and wearing a sun hat. It might be too romantic, but that’s the ideal postcard from all of my vacations. As a way to somehow celebrate my (and others’) way of perceiving summer, For Love & Lemons has unveiled an all-white capsule collection for summer 2016 that is basically all I have ever wished for.

Dubbed ‘Summer Romance’ and featuring stunning model Melodie Monrose (along with the cutest little lamb ever), the lookbook features all the trends that are all the rage now, only translated to a brighter, lively white color that will make any skin glow. Although focusing on the laid-back, loose and flared dresses, the For Love & Lemons Summer Romance features crop-tops and cover-ups as well, not to mention the few proposals decorated with a soft, pastel-toned floral print.

Divided into three different sections, the line-up includes ensembles that are heavy on crochet and lace embroideries, then also the aforementioned delicate floral patterns as its main decoration, and lastly purely minimalistic white fabrics with no embellishments whatsoever.

Such a choice makes it possible to play even more with all the different styles one may like, from boho-chic looks to more glam-rock outfits. If the midi, off-shoulder dresses with lace embroidered hems are perfect when paired with a wavy hairdo and a pair of sandals, the more minimalistic ones will create rock ‘n’ roll contrasts when combined with a pair of leather boots and a biker jacket, creating an outfit that is still wearable during the last days of summer.

As for the full lace embroidered dresses, they could be either worn during a formal occasion (except for a wedding unless the bride is not dressed up in white) or for a day/night out with friends: a chocker and a denim jacket will lighten up the look, adding overall youthful vibes to the entire outfit.

For Love & Lemons’ summer 2016 white dresses also feature a few sensual proposals, such as the Madeline and Violetta maxi dresses. While the first one features naïve sheer patterns and a laced-up plunging V-neckline, the latter combines a goodness-like Grecian silhouette with a more modern plunging neckline and delicate floral embroideries that are the epitome of cuteness.

With price tags that range from $126 to $265 USD, the collection is available at REVOLVE now, so you’d better hurry up to get your dream white dress, since the line-up is a limited-edition one!
