Frankie Morello Pre-Collection Fall/Winter 2012

It’s never too early to learn what trends are awaiting us in the upcoming season, and even though we are still in spring, our favorite fashion designers are already slowly unveiling their gorgeous fall/winter 2012-2013 collections, giving us some reason to look forward to the cold season. If you have always hated the cold weather, you’ll now start to love it, as exactly at that period of the year you’ll be able to sport the gorgeous, luxe clothing pieces featured in the Frankie Morello pre-collection for Fall/Winter 2012. Blending bohemian glamor with high-class luxury, the Frankie Morello label has got the most alluring results ever, ultra-fashionable clothing pieces that will bring a touch of refinement into your fall wardrobe.

Greta Cuneo is the creative designer of this world-famous streetwear brand, who knows no boundaries, when it comes to fusing various clashing cultural and design patterns with each other. Shot by Adoni & Arantxa, the Frankie Morello pre-collection Fall/Winter 2012 brings a cavalcade of urban glam outfits that look in a beautiful contrast with the background of romantic floral printed wallpaper. The lookbook is fronted by models Vika Volkute and Natalia Siodmiak, who demonstrate a number of voguish office and casual chic ensembles to show fashionisers how to style things creatively and uniquely. The models were styled by Michelle Bagnara, and Andrea Costa was responsible for their makeup.
Skimming through the collection, we can see various themes Great Cunou has used to illustrate the great visual impact the mix of high-class luxury and bohemian fashion can bring. The excessive use of prints can be considered to be the secret weapon of the designer to add an ethnic touch to all those gorgeous pieces. The mixing and matching of the fur jackets and vests with LBDs, or skinny jeans with floral printed tops is showing the versatility of these luxurious garments. Fusing evening- and office-appropriate items is one of the fabulous style concept this prophetic couture brand is suggesting.

In terms of the chromatic palette, the latest Frankie Morello collection can definitely be considered highly classy and royal. There are all-black ensembles, the chicness of which hardly anyone can deny. Still if you want a beautiful alternative to black, the brand shows many shades of grey, blue and brown, not stepping out of the darker color zone of the collection. To add a youthful and playful touch to the looks, the designer has turned towards floral patterns, plaid and animal prints, which continue to be on in the new cold season.
Step out of boxed in the upcoming fall season and go for cutting edge combos of leather, fur and tweed cover-ups with delicate floral-printed skirts, timeless black dresses and casual chic skinny jeans. Use belts, wool berets, iconic bags and footwear to complete your styling and add extra wow factor to your looks. Draw inspiration from Frankie Morello and learn how to look luxe and glam all the time.
