See Gigi Hadid’s First Tommy Hilfiger Collection for Fall 2016

Gigi Hadid is doing big things with Tommy Hilfiger, from her appearance in the fall 2016 ad campaign and being named the global brand ambassador to what is her first collaboration with the Tommy Hilfiger label. Gigi is one of the co-designers of Tommy X Gigi, a capsule collection that will be available in stores and online at Tommy Hilfiger’s website on September 1st, 2016. I personally am very excited, several of the pieces are absolutely beautiful.

The Gigi Hadid x Tommy Hilfiger fall 2016 capsule collection has sprinklings of the nautical theme interspersed through the all American look. There is leather, knits and denim as well as stunning silhouettes. As first attempts go, Gigi Hadid does an amazing job. The Tommy X Gigi fall 2016 collection is fun and lively with a great overall look and fantastic pieces that are sure to enhance any wardrobe.

It is no wonder the collection came out so well as Gigi is not only their brand ambassador, but also a longtime fan of the label. Her adoration for the label shows in the fantastic capsule collection they have put together. When the collection is in stores this fall, it is sure to be a great show in response to all their hard work.

The outerwear is honestly my favorite part of the Tommy X Gigi fall 2016 collection. The bomber jackets, nautical jackets and even a cape are excellent choices I cannot wait to get my hands on. For those who closely follow Gigi Hadid’s street style, they will now have the option to buy a bit for themselves.

Gigi told Vogue: “Creatively speaking, it’s something that’s really true to my style—most of the pieces are things I would wear all the time. I wanted it to be something that when people look at it, they know I was the one who designed it and that it’s something I would genuinely wear. I’m very happy about it.”

Gigi Hadid does have excellent street style and her clothes in the Tommy X Gigi line are truly wearable.

There is a pair of leather topped overalls and several comfy looking shoes as well that have my eye. I also really love the hat she is wearing in many of her photos. Overall the collection just looks very fun and really street realistic as opposed to many capsule collections that look like something you cannot expect to live your life in. Tommy X Gigi looks fun to shop from.

Gigi has been called “truly the definition of today’s “Tommy Girl”” with the designer also saying “her style is confident, effortless and cool.” I am certain this would apply to anyone wearing the Tommy X Gigi line as well. You can thank Gigi for that.
