The collaboration between American designer Tommy Hilfiger and fellow citizen Gigi Hadid appears to be one of the fashion industry’s strongest partnerships, the mutual benefit of which is helping Tommy Hilfiger increase sales on the one hand, and Gigi Hadid become one of the industry’s leading supermodels. The Californian beauty is, in fact, not only Tommy Hilfiger’s brand ambassador, but is also working on her second clothing collaboration with the label.
As for this specific holiday 2016 collection and ad campaign, Hilfiger had something special in mind for us, which could let us already feel the holiday vibes.

Photographed by Gregory Harris, the Tommy Hilfiger holiday 2016 campaign is basically an ode to life and fun, as it urges us to live fully and fiercely. Entitled “Hilfiger Holiday Voyage”, the campaign sees Gigi Hadid and Brazilian model Francisco Lachowski having fun on a luxurious cruise, surrounded by musicians and framed by a breathtaking open ocean scenario.
Gregory Harris’ rich post-editing effects surely helped the pictures evoke their seductive, wanderlust-infused allure even more, which in return also enhanced the collection’s must-have staples. While on board of the “Hilfiger Holiday Voyage” boat, Gigi Hadid is caught smiling, laughing and relaxing, wearing some of the Tommy Hilfiger holiday 2016 lineup’s (literally) brightest designs, which give us much needed positive vibes.
Centered on sequined garments, Gigi Hadid is captured showing off an elegant sequined gold mini dress with a t-shirtdress silhouette that gave the outfit a sophisticated casual-chic outcome, a sequined varsity jacket in navy blue, a black crop top and a pair of soigné bell-bottom trousers. All of these staples seem to be on a mission too, which is that of confirming Hilfiger’s willingness to lessen the distances between his label and a millennial audience even more.
In all of the ad campaign’s pictures, Gigi Hadid looks radiant, which doesn’t make it hard for us to understand why Tommy Hilfiger chose such a talented beauty as the fashion house’s brand ambassador.
