Gucci Pre-Fall 2015 Collection

We are absolutely head over heels for the brand new Gucci pre-fall 2015 collection and we just can’t wait for the upcoming chilly months to be able to sport these glam-chic pieces! Apparently the ‘70s fashion trend is going to be hot for one more season after being the leading trend for spring/summer 2015, and it’s the classy retro luxe style mixing boyish elements and shapes with femininity that takes the lead this time. From luxe fur and colorful leather to vintage graphic patterns, flowing silhouettes and sleek masculine looks, Frida Giannini has worked the best details and design shapes into her pre-fall collection, making it one of the most vibrant sources of inspiration for making a powerful sartorial statement come the transitional days.

We already know that Marsala is Pantone’s colors for 2015 and Frida surely knows this too, but she also knows how to bring out the best in it, creating designs that scream for attention. Accompanied by a sophisticated autumnal color palette of dusty blue, camel, bright red, black, gray and white, this brick-red shade becomes the protagonist hue in the entire collection. While those opulent colors need no extra details for shining bright, the designer has also opted for charming vintage prints and patterns mainly in the graphic designs and in no less vibrant shades that only add to the sophistication and drama of the pieces.

Trying to boost the extravaganza and glamour in the collection, Giannini also turned to the use of sparkling beads, jewels and crystals to adorn a graphic cool jacquard coat, a graphic printed straight dress with a leather collar, a jacket in the same style coming teamed with a pair of printed pants and a chic vest with fur trimmings. In addition, she used tiny studs to amp up her leather designs, like that straight camel dress and simple tailored pants, like the straight black design, where studs were embellishing the hems of the pockets and the belt part.

Fall was present in the collection through luxurious fur, primarily colored, used either as the main material for creating stylish outerwear pieces or used to a smaller extent for decorating the edges of particular vests and coats. In addition, there you have some uber-cool patterned Nordic-inspired sweaters, ripped jeans, a military style coat, brightly colored, printed and pattered polished coats that will see you cozy and fashionable throughout those chilly months.

Striking and to-die-for is the eveningwear range of the Gucci pre-fall 2015 collection. Decorated with bright prints and some bow details on the necks, these designs come in different lengths and flowing designs laying the stress on movement and sensuality. Equally cool are the daywear dresses that feature the finest materials ever and unstructured silhouettes for the completely laid-back allure.

Surprisingly, evening dresses come teamed with flat pointy-toe brogues in the collection, while dangerously got Oxford heels look simply ravishing in combination with the daywear dresses and boyish culottes. As for the best Gucci bags for the season, you just need the seventies inspired boxy accordion style either in calfskin or python with the hinged monogram closure and the double-chain straps. Looking chic is so much easy now thanks to the Gucci pre-fall 2015 collection!
