American bohemian apparel retailer Free People has come up with its May 2015 catalogue and we are happy to see the gorgeous Dree and Langley Fox Hemmingway sisters going all stylish on us as they pose for the designer label. They show off their modelling skills rather well as they appear in lace jumpsuits, palazzo pants and oversized ponchos. They look perfect in the jungles of Costa Rica, looking spectacular on their family outing. Free People’s summer 2015 styles are all about looking bohemian chic as they traipse through the tropical location with grace and attitude.
Free People is known for its women’s clothing, accessories, shoes, intimates, and swimwear. This collection has the clothing and the accessories, as well as the shoes, but for a summer collection it is certainly missing the swimwear. Then again, we still have time to see another batch of those awesome tiny garments unveiled before the start of the warm summer months. The brand was founded in 1984 by Dick Hayne and operates in a slightly different manner than most. It is part of the Urban Outfitters family that originally was seen as catering to the youth while it later rebranded itself to serve those in their 20s and early 30s instead. In 2006 a company blog was also begun and that is one feature that really differentiates the label from others, offering daily articles in 8 different categories. These include fashion, music, food, DIY, décor, inspirations, beauty and one known simply as FP Me. The last one is very interactive with customers given the chance to showcase personal style by creating profiles and posting pictures of hot they wear and match Free People products. After all is said and done, the latest Free People May 2015 campaign certainly is fitting for such an awesome American retailer.
We see Dree posing in a gorgeous denim maxi skirt, the sides in rainbow colors and opening up to give the skirt itself a healthy A-line. Sitting high on the waist, the outfit is coupled with a simple white tank, bringing the focus down lower, a long silver feather necklace hanging from the neck and a bandana rolled round the forehead.
We enter the 1970s in style when we look at the sisters together, wearing bowler hats and wide rimmed headwear, necks fitted with chunky necklaces that are so very bohemian in style, fringed sandals that appear in suede and long tunic dresses that are all the bohemian you could have hoped for. We have got embroidered lacy ponchos on the scene, as well as comfortable loose linen striped pants to give one a more relaxed feel.
If you want to go totally retro while keeping true to the chic nature of yours, opt for the lace jumpsuit with the halter style top and the bell bottom legs accentuating every last inch of your body an showing off your beautiful tanned skin underneath the off-white coloring of the piece. Wear it with open toe sandals, a simple black collar necklace and a wide brimmed bowler hat. Or you can always opt for the simpler racer back strapped body hugging midi dress that shows off those shoulders of yours quite nicely.
