Not only are the fashion trends extremely varied and colorful this year, but also the ad campaigns of various famous fashion houses and brands. Some opt for color and texture, while others choose simplistic themes, trying to put the emphasis on their creations more. Luxurious fashion house Hermès makes the new spring season absolutely free-spirited, breezy and fun by unveiling a campaign that perfectly captures the light summer breeze. Photographed by Nathaniel Goldberg and featuring Iselin Steiro, the newest Hermès spring/summer 2013 campaign, titled “A Sporting Life”, takes us cycling and skateboarding on the wooden beach walkways.
The Hermès spring/summer 2013 collection is a beautiful mixture of two contrasting styles: something clean and sharp. As Christophe Lamaire describes the collection: “I wanted it to be graphic and modernist, masculine and feminine but I also wanted to explore and express the richness of Hermes. Style is always a fusion. I want to shake it all up together.”
As a result, we have it all in the Hermès spring/summer 2013 collection, from color blocks and graphic prints to leather, floral prints, and clothing pieces with a strong utilitarian feel. A high emphasis is placed on the outerwear, the accessory choices and footwear. The collection brings big belts, braces, chunky cuffs, classy high heeled shoes, trench coats and jackets that are slightly curved at the shoulders. No wonder, the designer has managed to bring together the signature styles of the legendary fashion house!
