It feels a whole lot like Christmas already, the snow falling, the skies with bright sunshine afterwards but the air with a genuine frosty feel… It feels a whole lot like Christmas and that means that we will be having time to ourselves, with family and in front of the fireplace roast chestnuts when we are not out partying the holidays away. But more than anything else, it is a time for visits, for get-togethers and for cozy times at home with people you love the most. As such there is a new H&M holiday 2015 collection with the looks showcased by Doutzen Kroes and Andreea Diaconu that are meant to help you with your holiday clothing decisions and keep you warm while you enjoy your days in comfort, with eggnog and turkey. There is little time left until Christmas, so it’s high time to shop your favorites from this lookbook on H&M’s website!
The top models have decided to welcome the end of the year with major style and we are loving everything from the cozy sweaters to the tuxedo jackets. Casual and not entirely as casual team up for a combination of looks you will definitely be wanting to add to your wardrobe this month.
Some of our favourite looks include the long sleeveless dress that is cinched in at the waist and falls in folds around the body, loose enough to gently graze the curves without having anything overtly showing off, he bare shoulders a testament to the upcoming spring 2016 fashion trends. The general feel of it is soft, the length down to ankles and the look is somewhere in between casual and ready for a night out.
If you prefer a shorter hem, body-hugging silhouettes and just a tad more coverage but not by much at the top, there is a gorgeous red number that can be worn to the more official parties with the family, warm in nature and crepe in material. You can always take on a flirty but comfy look with a cat sweatshirt with sequins and a red textured skirt, or go home comfort meets sexy black tie dinner with a tuxedo jacket with cape sleeves, a V-neck camisole top and add in some glittery joggers that are probably normally used to lounge on the sofa at night watching some TV or curled with a good book before the fireplace.
We have to admit that the best family-worthy combination available in the H&M holiday 2015 collection is the wool-blend cowl neck sweater with the long sleeves and in the beige coloring, paired up with stretchy sequined glittering pants that have a cigarette coupe to them and would look wonderful with a whole array of ankle half or full length boots up to the knees. The lookbook also includes faux fur vests, slip-fit denim pants, glittery sneakers in silver and black along with shimmering ballet flats, imitation suede sandals, felted parkas worn over sequined sweaters, a whole lot of red including a red knit sweater, a crinkled chiffon dress, satin shorts and ankle length leather-style jeans that hug up every last curve on those limbs.
