The new warm season places a high accent on femininity and retro style, which seem to be timeless trends and which always look chic and unique. Swedish high-street retailer H&M decided to dedicate a collection to these fabulous styles and unveiled the H&M Modern Retro spring 2013 lookbook, featuring Latvian model Ginta Lapina. Photographed by Andrew Yee, the gorgeous doll is demonstrating an array of sexy leather pieces, crop tops and ladylike pleated dresses.
So how does H&M define femininity and retro allure? Through a range of black and turquoise colors, leather, body-hugging silhouettes and flared skirts! The H&M Modern Retro spring 2013 lookbook brings together all-things-ladylike and simplistic, giving as a sea of mix and matching possibilities. And the best thing about the collection is that these pieces always look voguish, despite the season’s trends.
Femininity is the keyword for the H&M Modern Retro spring 2013 lookbook, as the line focuses on skirts and dresses mainly. There are lovely flared miniskirts, little black dresses and printed ones. Other than that, go for snakeskin printed blouses and simple white ones, skinny leather pants, cropped sweaters and animal printed ones, as well as a feathered ombre blouse that is sure to become the center of everyone’s attention.
When it comes to the accessories, the H&M Modern Retro spring 2013 lookbook shows cool necklaces, golden clutches and wedged shoes. What else does one need for looking modern and retro at the same time?
